Concerning the video you watched here is my thoughts on it.

Hello, my name is Will, you don't know me, however, the recording that you have watched I also watched and I believe he is in error and here is why. All references are from the Bible and other Christian sources.

First God gave Adam a wife because He did not want Adam to be alone. All the other animals had mates to aid and comfort them, Adam did not. Point in all this is that Adam needed someone that would in like manner be there to provide aid, help and comfort. God made the man first therefore making him the pre-eminence creatation, just as God had his helpers (Jesus, The Holy Spirit and Angels), the man would need help also. He placed the man in the position of authority over all creation to include the woman whom was formed out of his own body.

God being all knowing, knew that Eve would fall to sin, so the die was cast and the man would be place over all His creation to include the woman. I do believe that if Eve would not have fallen Adam would not be needed to show Gos's authority as a leader, because all would be perfect.

Gen 2:18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

Help

With the sense of that which brings aid, support, or deliverance, help (noun and vb.) represents a large variety of words in Hebrew and Greek (noun 7, verb 16). A principal Hebrew word is עזר, ‛āzar, to help, with the corresponding nouns עזר, ‛ēzer, עזרה, ‛ezrāh; a chief Greek word is βοηθέω, boēthéō (Mat_15:25; Mar_9:22, Mar_9:24, etc.). True help is to be sought for in Yahweh, in whom, in the Old Testament, the believer is constantly exhorted to trust, with the renouncing of all other confidences (Psa_20:2; Psa_33:20; Psa_42:5; Psa_46:1; Psa_115:9, Psa_115:10, Psa_115:11; Psa_121:2; Isa_41:10, Isa_41:13, Isa_41:14, etc.). In Rom_8:26 it is said, the Spirit also helpeth our infirmity, the verb here (συναντιλαμβάνεται, sunantilambánetai) having the striking meaning of to take hold along with one. In the story of Eden, Eve is spoken of as a help meet for Adam (Gen_2:18, Gen_2:20). The idea in meet is not so much suitability, though that is implied, as likeness, correspondence in nature (Vulgate, similem sibi). One like himself, as taken from him, the woman would be an aid and companion to the man in his tasks.

In Gen 3:16 UntoH413 the womanH802 he said,H559 I will greatlyH7235 multiplyH7235 thy sorrowH6093 and thy conception;H2032 in sorrowH6089 thou shalt bring forthH3205 children;H1121 and thy desireH8669 shall be toH413 thy husband,H376 and heH1931 shall ruleH4910 over thee.

You see that God told Eve that her husband would rule her.

Again God in His wisdom made Adam a helper similar to him yet opposite because as you know two men are anathama. If Eve wouldn't have sinned there would be no need for Adam to rule over her.

In love and in Jesus' name.
