Let me guide you to The Treaty of Tripoli ratified 1797,which was signed by John Adams. In Article 11 we read that "America is in no sense founded on the Christian religion: Article 11 explicitly affirms that the U.S. is not a Christian nation.Article 11 states:"As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion; as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquility, of Mussulmen [Muslims]... it is declared by the parties that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries. Donald J Trump is a fake patriot. He now heads the New Republican Party which is extremely racist. Now, you know that Christianity is not respected by our Founding Fathers. Post Reply

Because you now want to rewrite history to make it look like America was founded as a Christian nation, you are in error. You obviously are not from a patriotic family that played a great role in the United States of America, as my family (The Hardin Family) has. I am from Louisville Kentucky. My family (The Hardin Family) played a role in establishing the United States of America and the State of Kentucky, as no other. I am a descendant of pioneers and explorers from Colonial Virginia and Kentucky. My family has been in America since 1706. There would be no United States of America, or the State of Kentucky, if it were not for my family. My forefather, was Colonel John Hardin of the Kentucky militia. Colonel John Hardin fought in the Dunsmore Indian War of 1774. He then fought in the Revolutionary War in 1776. Colonel John Hardin paid the ultimate sacrifice, when he was asked by America's First President George Washington to carry a Peace Treaty to the Indians of Ohio county in May 1792. The Shawnee killed him. Hardin County, Kentucky was named posthumously in his honor in June 1792. Hardinsburg, Kentucky was named for Capt William Hardin, cousin of Colonel John Hardin. Abraham Lincoln was born in Hardin County Kentucky in 1809. You should not offend the history of the United States of America,just because you want fake Christianity to look good George Washington wrote to Thomas Jefferson dated August 23rd 1792, and spoke to him about Colonel John Hardin's death. SPECIAL NOTE: Thomas Jefferson hated Christians. He corresponded with Dr. Benjamin Rush. During that correspondence Thomas Jefferson stated the following: I HAVE SWORN UPON THE ALTAR OF GOD ETERNAL HOSTILITY AGAINST EVERY FORM OF TYRANNY OVER THE MIND OF MAN. It is troubling that while you have no historical knowledge of the creation of the United States of America, you are making comments about it's history. There are other accounts of the heroic exploits of the Hardin Family, but it's not necessary that I discuss them. Post Reply

Posted : 27 Jun, 2026 11:21 AM Yes, some people want to erase the faiths of our Founding Fathers from history and from the history books. Some may have been atheists or agnostic; some may have been Deists; some polygynists. But there was a Christian influence on many and the construction of some documents much owed to the Bible, but I will leave that for the historians to argue. God was present. To what degree is arguable. There was definitely a Christian influence upon this nation. To what degree the different influences, I don't know. It is a hodge podge of influences and beliefs. But take Christianity out of it, and what do you have left? Post Reply
