OK just want some opinons and I am gonna give yall mine up front so you dont feel like I tricked you into a debate in which I dont agree with you in, asw many I have seen do ask an opinion then attack you on every reason why your opinion is wrong,

so the question I have is what do you think about satan? can he make people rich and give things that can be mistaken as blessings such as cars, money, houses riches and so forth?

and my opinion is that Yes he most deifnatly can and does make peole rich and powerful we must remember that he is the god of this world that implys a certain amount of power in this world he has no power over us (believers) as God has ultimate power over everything and the ones that are his are protected from satan, however job had that hedge around him as well and in a time of testing the Lord removed Jobs hedge, I dont now to what extent the Lord will let satan do things but I do kow this satan is at work and he does have power and for those who arent saved and bllo bought satan is more powerful than they are the only thing that gives us power over him is the Blood o Jesus other wise he has more power over the human race than they hace over themselfs this is evident in things like drug addiction when satan has complete power over a persons life! Satan also has the abilty to make people wealthy, you see if people think they ae in need of nothing then they will never see their need for the Lord and therefor satan has them in his greips!

this is just my opinion but you know what they say about opinions!

Yes that is correct about your opinion.

You will find first and foremost it is not a matter of God allowing satan to do anything it, is man allowing Satan to have place in his life.

Job 42:10 And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

Job 42:11 Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold.

Job 42:12 So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.

Job 42:13 He had also seven sons and three daughters.

Job 42:14 And he called the name of the first, Jemima; and the name of the second, Kezia; and the name of the third, Kerenhappuch.

Job 42:15 And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren.

Job 42:16 After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons sons, even four generations.

satan stole all Job had.

Notice the key word in verse twelve

So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job after he turned his captivity.

He held him Captive and Why?

1Ti 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

*** Yes I believe satan uses $$$ to intice people and the children of God...kinda like the grass is greener on the other side...I've seen people go from poverty to wealth only to find unhappiness once there...I've also seen people go from poverty to wealth and find much happiness always putting Father God first in everything...I believe satan can use any means to suduce and intice...its up to us to reconize it and NOT give place to it...Amen ! AMEN !!!...xo

Jude, Satan also uses that scripture and others like it to divert the church from the truth.

So it is then taught as money is evil.

Which if that was true then Jesus would be evil.

Satan is a thief and yes he does help his people store it up.

He wants to delude the church to the church about wealth, because he wants to hinder the church in their mission.

The wealth upon the earth was not for Satan and his crowd.

Nothing was created for Satan not one thing upon the earth, but he steals from the church thru unbelief.

Elisha said:

James replies:

No. I don't see in Scripture where Satan has that kind of power at this time.

God is the one who blesses and makes Rich AND poor.

If you see someone who has a lot of money, you should be happy that God has blessed them, because if God had not allowed it, they would not be wealthy.

There are plenty of bad attitudes these days concerning money.

First off, the Tenth commandment is almost unknown in America.

The Democrat party USES the violation of the Tenth commandment all the time, to get people to vote for them!!!

Vote for me senator sixpack, and I will make sure the rich pay their fair share!!!"

That is nothing but covetousness!

We also have some Christians, who believe it is morally wrong to have a lot of money.

The Bible does not say that, and in the Old Testament, you had some men of God who were VERY rich.

But, back to your question, NO, I don't see anywhere in Scripture where Satan has the power to make anyone rich.

That "deal with the devil" stuff is just pure superstition.

In Christ,

James

Satan can use any means to intice Us.

But like Jude said, we do not have to give place to the devil. But Keep God first in our life.

God is always in Control and he can and does bless people with Wealth/money. Love of money is the Root of all evil.

Many rich people love the Lord.

So James is it your opinion that people who are not children of God that are not elect or born again, God will bless them with wealth? I never said satan blessed anyone I said he gives wordly posessions and people mistake them as blessing the word says satan comes as an angel of light, He tricks people into thinking they are blessed so that they dont see a need for the Lord

*** What about Ananias and his wife holding back a portion of the sale of the land agreeing together (a deal) to give only so much...(coveting)...Per Peter they had received the Holy Spirit and Yet Grieved Him and died on the spot when he questioned them seperatly...Could it be said here about this scripture that ol satan didn't hava a hand in it ???...xo

2 words DRUG DEALERS!! I am sorry but there is nothing anyone can ever say to convince me that the money these people have is a blessing from God what about all those people who got money in the bail outs a couple years back? This money was to bail out banks from the trouble they were in but the ceo's took huge bonuses and sallary increases out of that money and the banks didnt really get any help?

What about people who get rich from insider trading thats illeagle? I am just saying people get rich from breaking the law and commiting sin thats IS NOT blessing from God, Heidie Flice?? Do yall remember her? Thats a prime example of what I am talking about this girl had "it all" she was wealthy from selling her body and selling other young girls bodies to rich men they had boats and mansions and designer clothes. They thought they were blessed but they werent it was a curse they ended up getting hoked on drugs and put in prison and losing everything thats an extreme example of what I was talking about, yall keep saying satan cant bless and thats true he cant truly bless but he can make you think you are blesses (by you I mean the unsaved) maybe he can even fool someone who is a Christian into thinking they are recieving a blessing when it may feel like a blessing for a season but ultimatly will turn into a curse!

Here is an article I found

Who is the owner of the entire universe-God or Satan? We know that it is God. God also owns this planet earth, and all in it, as

He is the Creator of it. It is written:

The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. (Psalm 24:1)

The silver is mine, the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts. (Haggai 2:8)

Whatever riches people have are the treasures of the Lord. It is God's riches in nature that man possesses.

Does God give riches to men? Let us see what the Bible declares:

But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth. (Deuteronomy 8:18)

And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king: Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like. (2 Chronicles 1:11, 12)

Yes, God gives wealth. And when He does He blesses it too, to bring joy. The preacher wrote:

Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God. (Ecclesiastes 5:19)

We need to now ask another question: Can a person become rich without the hand of God in it? Let us see what saith the Scripture:

Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase. (Proverbs 13:11)

Wealth can be gotten by vanity! And obviously God is not involved in vanity. Here "vanity" means without laboring. And on the other hand the writer says, "But he that gathereth by labour shall increase".

We are all aware of how vanity money can be gotten! God wants us to work and make a living, and not to go-in for the shortcuts.

There is a blessing in work.

The wise man made a very interesting statement. He wrote:

The wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just. (Proverbs 13:22)

It is because it was illegally gained. It was not according to the method of God. Obviously riches can be gained apart from the hand of God in it.

Remember the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness? In one of the three temptations the devil talked about giving Christ the riches and wealth and all things, on a condition.

Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. (Matthew 4:8, 9)

God, in the beginning, gave Adam and Eve the privilege of being caretakers of this planet earth. In fact He made this earth for man-for man to rule and enjoy the blessing and riches of its soil. It is written:

The earth hath he given to the children of men. (Psalm 115:16)

This whole planet was given to Adam and Eve. But when they sinned they became the servants of sin. Satan claimed it now to be his. Therefore, he made that statement to Christ in the wilderness.

On Calvary, Christ legally got back what Satan robbed from man. It was God's by creation, and man sold it to Satan, and Christ purchased it back with an infinite price, and will finally give it again to the redeemed.

Since Satan is still around and very much at work with all his tricks, he is alluring people to take the wrong path to prosperity and riches. He does not want people to get rich and wealthy in a just way.

God has commanded man to labor for his daily bread. He told Adam:

In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread. (Genesis 3:19)

And He tells all:

Six days shalt thou labour and do all thy work. (Exodus

20:9)

And Jesus said, when a man works, he deserves his due:

Workman is worthy of his meat. (Matthew 10:10)

A man has to be paid. That is the rule of God. But his work has to be honest. For it is written:

A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight. (Proverbs 11:1)

A person who gains riches by dishonest labor, a work that God does not approve of, a work that His Word does not approve of, is not from God. If the method of getting rich is contrary to God's Word (false balance, lying, cheating, fraud, illegal and forbidden by the law of the land, and the law of God, see Romans 13:1-7), then that wealth is not from God. And if it is not from God, it is from the enemy of God, the devil, who offers these riches from his stolen property.

The unjust way of getting rich is called, "wages of unrighteousness" (2 Peter 2:15).

Money is a necessity but not everything. God has promised to supply all our basic needs if we trust Him. We need to ask to receive. We need to ask the owner of this planet:

Give us this day our daily bread. (Matthew 6:11)

Some have thought money to be a curse, a hindrance to spiritual pursuit. Money is not evil in itself; it is the love of money that is the problem.

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

(1 Timothy 6:10)

God warns us not to love money, though it is a necessity. We must love God, and He will provide our needs as we labor honestly and lawfully. And even if one becomes rich by getting the means rightfully, the caution is:

If riches increase, set not your heart upon them. (Psalm 62:10)

That is where many have failed. Look, for instance, at the rich young ruler in Matthew 19:16-22. He was losing Heaven because he clung on to his riches. It was here that Christ made the startling statement:

It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. (Matthew 19:24)

There were many rich men who were also very rich in faith like Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, King David, Job, and others. They were the richest, probably, in their times; yet they were close to God. So, if a man's heart is fixed on God, then riches will be a blessing to him, as he blesses others with it; if not, it is a curse to him.

Wealth can come from God and also from the devil. When God gives, it is His own riches He is sharing with us, but when the devil gives, it is stolen riches! He is stealing from God's land of treasure and exporting it to people! So watch out and check out how you get your riches; ask Him to help you if you have a problem. And ask God for wisdom as to how to use it for His glory.

james I will have to disagree with you that satan and the money issue.

The NAZI party took what the jews had and sold it or kept it for themselves.

The jews lost evrything while the Hitlerites profited off jewish misfortion.
