If you don't believe me, look around you, look at our churches today. Try sharing something that must be Spiritually Discerned, and see how few people can hear you. 1Cr 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1 John 4:6, says that those that are of us, hear us. 1Jo 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. Tares, can't hear us, all they hear is that they can have a better life. It is as though pastors believe that if they can talk someone into saying the right prayer, like a magic formula, they are now Christians, even if they are not regenerate or quickened by the Holy Spirit. The only thing that produces true conversion is the Conviction, Drawing, and Quickening, of the Holy Spirit. Sadly, pastors get someone to say a little prayer and now they think that they are saved, it gives them a false confidence that may land them in hell. If the Holy Spirit isn't doing the conversion, it is dangerous lie. Kelly Crabb Post Reply

This scripture has nothing to do with the post or jest of the post, it simply declares that the natural man can not receive not the things of the spirit. The the context does tell how man discerns spiritual matters. Man has always been a three part being Spirit, soul and body. 1 John 4:6, says that those that are of us, hear us. This scripture is not inclusive of the lost being born again. Jesus declared he that has an ear to hear can hear the word of God. 1Jo 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. This scripture is a good one to tell us that the word of God does agree with altar calls that are an act of faith. This scripture is not applicable to the lost. It is as though pastors believe that if they can talk someone into saying the right prayer, like a magic formula, they are now Christians, even if they are not regenerate or quickened by the Holy Spirit. It is always appropriate to expect a response after the word of God is proclaimed. The regenerate statement is one of another doctrine it is not in the word of God as implied in this post. The only thing that produces true conversion is the Conviction, Drawing, and Quickening, of the Holy Spirit. Man must always employ his will to respond to the word of God, it is his choice to accept or reject. If the word of God is proclaimed the Spirit of God is at work with all that are in earshot of the gospel. Sadly, pastors get someone to say a little prayer and now they think that they are saved, it gives them a false confidence that may land them in hell. Pastors do not make anyone pray it is always their choice and if their response is of the heart they are born again by the word of God. It is Very important to be accountable to what is proclaimed, to ensure it is in agreement with the word of God. Post Reply

Walking down a isle and getting all hyped up by a actor at the end of the isle saves no one. ALTER CALLS are part of the cult they are not biblical. Is it necessary to walk down an aisle no Is it wrong to walk down an aisle and publicly declare Jesus as lord, before man as your witnesses, ABSOLUTELY NOT. YES ALL WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR EVERY VAIN WORD SPOKEN. BTW THE WAY THE PATTERN YOU SAY IS A LIE IS IN THE WORD OF GOD SEVERAL TIMES. YOU can NOT keep making a mockery without being punished by the Holy God of the bible. He has never let anyone get away with mocking him. REPENT and believe in the bible. In a prayer if you confess jesus you are saved if you believe it inyour heart. If the prayer has a confession that jesus forgives sins and is Lord what is your problem sister. Posted : 2 Feb, 2012 03:17 PM I thought the "article" by Kelly Crabb made it clear that Kelly Crabb doesnt believe in Alter calls...:rolleyes:...So who said what ???...Dont know and dont care...All I know is John the Baptist was a Preachin in the Desert and Masses of People came Forward to the Water...thats "Living Water" by the way...There was no Alter for the World and Fullness of it is the LORD's...however...the People came Forward to Confess thier Sins and be Baptized for the Remission of them ...Boy oh Boy...:bouncy:...I sure woulda LOVED to see that site...As far as the comment about not being Biblical...well...I sure pray alot about People saying Believing in the Bible...an Yet they be Givein more Credit to Certain parts of the Good Book over the Author (Jesus) of it and All that He says...Anywho...it dont make no Nevermind...Yall Keep on with the Beat...:boxing:...Goes On...and Hava a Blessed day while doing it...xo Post Reply
