" is strong language here, Paul is basically saying God-dam those preaching another gospel. This false gospel was the Judaizers demanding adherence to the law rather than salvation by faith. :waving: Post Reply

Paul's example was the false teaching of the Jews who taught the keeping of the Jewish Law. Maintaining vigilants against a vague hypothetical false doctrine borders on paranoia. :waving: Post Reply

When you know the TRUE gospel, it's really not difficult to spot false gospels. They are rarely vague. Nor, does anyone really need to be labeled as "paranoid" for being vigilant.
