Is the archangel Michael and Jesus one and the same?? The description of the heavenly body of Jesus in Revelation 1:13-17 is exactly the same as the description of someone that the archangel Michael helped in Daniel 10:5,6 thus proving that the archangel Michael and Jesus are not the same.

Revelation 1:13-17: Among the lampstands was someone "like the Son of Man," dressed in a robe reaching down to His feet and with a golden sash around His chest. His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow,, and His eyes were like blazing fire. His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and His voice like the sound of rushing waters...His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance . John said, "When I saw Him, I fell at His feet as though dead. Then He placed His right hand on me and said: "Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last!"
Compare with Daniel 10:5,6,13, 16,17: Daniel said, "I looked up and there before me was a man dressed in *LINEN*, with the belt of the finest gold around His waist. His body was like chrysolite, his face like lightning, His eyes like flaming torches, his arms and legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, and His voice like the sound of a multitude..... And He said the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted Me. Then *MICHAEL*, one of the cheif princes, came to help Me!"..... Daniel said "I am overcome with anguish because of the vision, my LORD, and I am helpless. How can I, your servant, talk with you my LORD? My strength is gone and I can hardly breathe."
And so this shows that Michael is definately not Jesus!!
The archangel Michael also appears just before the beinning of the 1260-day Great Tribulation in Revelation 12:7 which was prophesied in Daniel 12:1,2,7.
Revelation 12:7-9,13,14: And there was war in Heaven. *MICHAEL* and his angels fought against the dragon {Satan} and the dragon and his angels fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. The great dragon was hurled down--that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whold world astray. He was hurled to earth and his angels with him...When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to earthhe pursued the woman. The woman was was given two wings of a great eagle so that she may fly to the place prepared for her in the desert, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent's reach.
By comparing Rev 12:6 with Rev 12:14 we know that time {360 days}, times {720 days} and half a time{180 days} is 1260 days: Rev 12:6 "The woman fled into the desert to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for *1260 days!*
This 1260-day or time, times and half a time Great Tribulation with the archangel Michael coming before is also prophesied in Daniel 12:1,2,7:
Daniel 12:1,2,7: At that time *MICHAEL*, the great prince who protects your people, will arise {See Rev 12:7 above}. There will be a time of distress such as not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people--everyone whose name is found written in the Book {The Lamb's Book of Life}--will be delivered. Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.....The Man clothed in *LINEN* {Jesus--see Dan 10:5 above} said... "It will be for a time 360 days}, times {720 days} and half a time {180 days} when the power of the holy people has been finally broken **ALL* these things will be completed!!"
The archangel Michael is also mentioned in Jude 9: "But even the archangel *MICHAEL*, when he was disputing with the devil about the the body of Moses..." the arch angel *MICHAEL* is mentioned exactly 5 times in God's Word : Daniel 10:13,21; Daniel 12:1; Jude 9 and Revelati
The first part of chapter 10 is the vision about Jesus, but it is not continued throughout the whole chapter. The vision ends and someone who looks like a man(Gabriel) comes to help Daniel understand the vision that he saw. Gabriel had been doing this function previously, he came to Daniel quite often after Daniel had a vision. So, the one described with lightning and fire and beryl, etc is Jesus. The one who came to explain the vision to Daniel was Gabriel.
Revelation 1
13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
19 Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
Daniel 8:15-18
15 And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man.
16 And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.
17 So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision.
18 Now as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep on my face toward the ground: but he touched me, and set me upright.
19 And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be.
Daniel 9:21-23
21 Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.
22 And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding.
23 At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.
Daniel 10:4-6 Daniel said, "I looked up and there before me was a *MAN* dressed in linen, with a belt of the finest gold around His waist. His body was like chrysolite, His face like lightning, His eyes like flaming torches, His arms and legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, and His voice like the sound of a multitude.
The MAN mentioned above is just like the Son of *Man* in Revelation 1:13-19: John said,

And so the *MAN* Daniel saw in Daniel 10:4-6 was actually the Son of *MAN* who is definately Jesus described in Revelation 1:13-19.
And the Son of Man mentioned in Daniel 10:4-6 then spoke to Daniel who called Him *LORD* 3 times in Daniel 10:8-11,15-19: Daniel said, "I was left alone, gazing at this great vision; I had no strength left, my face turned deathly pale and I was helpless. Then I heard Him speaking, and as I listened to Him, I fell into a deep sleep, my face to the ground. A hand touched me and set me trembling on my hands and knees, He said, "Daniel, you are highly esteemed, consider carefully the words I am about to speak to you, and stand up for I have now been sent to you." And I stood up trembling.... While He was saying this to me, I bowed with my face toward the groundand was speechless. Then One who looked like a *MAN* touched my lips, and I opened my mouth and began to speak. I said to the One standing before me, "I am overcome with anguish because of the vision, my *LORD*, and I am helpless. How can I, your servant talk with You, my *LORD*? My strength is gone and I can hardly breathe.' Again ther ONE* who looked like a *MAN* touched me and gave me strength. Do not be afraid, O man highly esteeemed," He said. Peace! Be strong now, be strong!" When He spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, "Speak, my *LORD*, since you have given me strength!!"
�I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,� says the Lord, �who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.� I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.
If you believe that it is Jesus throughout the whole 10th chapter, then you believe God is weaker than a man and needs an arch-angel to help Him with an earthly prince. That's not a good belief, and definitely not accurate.
God the Father never needs help. But God the Son needed the help of God the Father to raise Him from the dead.
Ephesians 1:19,20: That power is like the working of His mighty strength, which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms.
It is quite obvious that Lord Jesus was the One doing the speaking in Daniel 10:8-11, 15-18 above!!
John 14:28: Jesus says, "If you loved Me, you would be glad that I am going to to the Father, for the Father is *GREATER* than I !!"
Jesus says in John 14:23,24: "If you you love Me, obey My Words. Then My Father will love him,and **WE**{PLUAL} will come to him and make **OUR**{PLURAL} home with him. ...These words you hear are not My own; they belong to the Father who sent Me!"
God the Father has placed God the Son over EVERYTHING for the church {Not the Satanic Popes} until His Second Coming when Jesus will then hand back the Kingdom to God the Father. God the Father and God the Son sit on SEPARATE thrones and God the Father is greater than God the Son.
Ephesians 1:20-23: God the Father raised God the Son from the dead and seated Him at His right handin the heavenly realms FAR ABOVE all rule and authority power and dominion... ...... And God the Father has placed **ALL** things under His feet and appointed Him to be HEAD over EVERYTHING for the church!!
I Corinthians 15:22-24: For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own turn: Christ, the Firstfruits; then, when He comes, those who belong to Him. Then the END will come whe He hands over the Kingdom to God the Father.
