Romans 5:2

By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

I'd like to get everybody's opinion on this verse. Does faith grant us access into grace like the verse says? Does anything precede faith?

If, you would like the Biblical position on this google: ordo salutis.

Of course, you will have a problem because it will differ from the 7th Day Adventist cult paradigm that you are currently brainwashed with. So, you will again have to choose between the truth and the SDA error. I pray God removes the blindness from your eyes for you to see the truth.

Ordo salutis is a comparison of two of men's views on what the Bible says. Men's and women's views always will have a spin no matter how much they believe their views are the 100% truth.

Romans 10:14How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.

19 But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.

20But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.

21 But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.

17 So ten faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

"Ordo salutis is a comparison of two of men's views on what the Bible says. Men's and women's views always will have a spin no matter how much they believe their views are the 100% truth."

So, this "Teach" offers us her self refuting view.

She asserts women's views ALWAYS will have a spin not matter how much they believe their views are the 100% truth. So, why should we believe Teach's VIEW? By her own testimony, it has a spin. Therefore, we must reject it.

"Teach" then goes on to quote a passage of Scripture based on the presuppositions of HER VIEW - which as we already know based on Teach's view of her view has a spin. Therefore, we cannot accept it even though she believes it's 100% truth. :dunce:

My statement referred to MEN's and WOMEN's views.

And I quoted Scripture...so according to Zebra/bob/IWA Scripture isn't truth? Amazing.

Scripture is Truth, Teach. YOUR VIEW of Scripture is what I reject. You also reject your view of Scripture since as you stated above "women's views ALWAYS will have a spin no matter how much they believe their views are the 100% truth."

By the way Teach, how many times now have I told you that I believe Scripture is true? Yet, you continue to willfully misrepresent me. You know what I believe about Scripture, yet you continue to lie and so that I don't believe Scripture is true.

It seems that this verse agrees with Eph 2:8,9; For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

I believe grace is the empowering presence of God. It is by this power that we are given faith and it is because of this faith that we believe and are therefore saved. It is our salvation in Jesus that brings us into the empowering presence of God which increases our faith.

Without grace we cannot have faith to be saved and without grace we are not able to increase our faith.

Ultimately, after what seems to be a run on and on thought process of Paul's, the bottom line is that it is through Jesus, "by whom", that we have access into the grace, empowering presence, of our Father.

SBD,

This dialogue was had before. Mark rejects the Biblical theocentric view of salvation for his own anthropocentric view. He rejects the orthodox view for his SDA cult view.

Salvation is all of God -- Soli Deo gloria!
