A interesting consideration?!Posted : 28 Dec, 2012 02:09 PMThe only way I can see the whole Doctrine of a 'pre-chosen Elect' being slightly true is the bizarre statement found inGenesis chapter 6 and eluded to through out the rest of Scripture. |

A interesting consideration?!Posted : 30 Dec, 2012 08:25 AMMark, I agree, a lot could of happened in that time. However as for the title "Sons of God" ; I think for a race that had lost its connection with God, supernatural beings from heaven would be called what? Take the Greek mythology for example; that is exactly what they did; calling them the sons of the gods. |

A interesting consideration?!Posted : 4 Jan, 2013 09:36 AMMy point was just that "Sons of God" is generally reserved for people who are following God. A race of fallen beings from heaven that were no longer following God, but were in active revolt against him, have never been called "Sons of God". So to me, they would either have to be unfallen angels that did this, or a race of humans that did follow God, were blessed by him, and had maintained much of their original perfection of body/mind/spirit, but began to intermingle with other humans(perhaps even "godly"/repentant humans) that had not always followed God and were weak and degenerate, but beautiful. |
