Calvin also did not believe that Revelation was the inspired Words of God and wrote a Commentary on every book in the Protestant Bible except Revelation??? Since all the Protestant Bibles now include the Book of Revelation most Calvinistic theologians like Dr. Kenneth Gentry will never admit that Revelation is not part of God's Word but believe that the Olivet sermon of Jesus in Matthew 24 & 25, Mark 13 and Luke 21 has already happened historically or before AD 70 and that the New Jerusalem is a symbolic fairy tale. JESUS WILL WRITE ON US THE NAME OF THE CITY OF GOD THE *NEW JERUSALEM*!! Revelation 2:18; 3:12,21: Jesus says, "To him who overcomes I will give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it...And I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will he leave it. I will write on him the name of the City of My God, the NEW JERUSALEM, which is coming down out of heaven from My God....And I will give the right to sit with Me on My throne, just as I overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne." According to Revelation 22:3 the only 2 thrones in the New Jerusalem will be the thrones of the Father and of the Lamb Jesus Christ. Post Reply

Level your arguments against Adventists in a new post or something, and I'll confirm or refute them like I have done dozens of times before when people have tried the same tactics to discredit me and get me to be quiet. As a warning, it hasn't worked before, I wish you luck trying it now. But if you're simply going to hide behind generalizations and hear-say, then I will not take you seriously and you shouldn't take yourself seriously either. If you don't want to do it, then I'll do it myself. I can very easily pick a slanderous website and debunk or confirm whatever they say, I've had to do that before when people weren't interested in backing up their ad hominem attacks. The simplest method would be to accept my challenge, the lesson is very short, I doubt it would take you 10 minutes. And yes, I know that I am not a sect of the Nazarenes, that was not my point. The SDA movement is very errant. Anyone who is so inclined can go and research this for themselves. The information is FREE and it's available all over the Internet. A lot of the info is provided by former members who have been set free from the error and are now exposing the movement from the inside. Again, it's free for anyone who wants to do the research. Then you went on to suggest that "prophecies must fail". ( A scripture that you mishandled in order to show support for the fact that MANY of Ellen White's prophecies failed). Mrs White believes in annihilation instead of eternal hell and believes that the Roman Catholic church is the antichist who ruled for 1260 years instead of 1260 days ending when Napolean put a Pope in jail for a few years in AD 1798. Mrs White believes that the 1260 day or 42 month rule of 666 is really 1260 years from AD 538 to AD 1798. The Calvinist Dr Gentry believes the 1260-day Tribulation is symbolic and ended in AD 70. When the 1260-day Great Tribulation begins God's saints will then know the exact day of the 2nd coming on the Last Day as per: Rev 3:3: Jesus says, �But {*IF*} you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you.� I Thess 5:4: Paul said �But YOU BROTHERS {*CHURCH SAINTS*}, are not in darkness so that {*THIS DAY*} should surprise you like a thief.� �70 7'S OR 490 YEARS ARE DECREED TO ANOINT THE MOST HOLY, TO ATONE FOR WICKEDNESS AND TO BRING IN EVERLASTING RIGHTEOUSNESS!!� Dan 9:24-27: �70 7�s {490 years} are decreed for your people TO ANOINT THE MOST HOLY, TO ATONE FOR WICKEDNESS and TO BRING IN EVERLASTING RIGHTEOUSNSS.. "After the 7 plus 62 7's {actually 1260 days after on April 3-5 AD 33} the Anointed One will be cut off but not for Himself..... He {The Anointed One} will confirm a COVENANT with many for one 'seven'. In the middle of the 'seven' {After 1260 days} He {The Anointed One; not 666} will put an END TO SACRIFICES {ATONE FOR WICKEDNESS}{And then after a long pause} the abomination of Desolation {666} will come {for the 1260 day Great Tribulation} until the decreed end is poured out on him.� on the Last day of the last 7 {See Rev 19:20} And so the first half of the last 7 was already COMPLETED when Jesus put and END to all sacrifices for sin 1260 days after His Anointing which occurred after 69 7's. When the Anointed One came 69 7's or 483 years were 100% completed [See Dan 9:25 above} leaving just one 7 in the future; which will be totally used by those who wrongly believe in a future 7-year Tribulation; which means that the ATONEMENT FOR WICKEDNESS by Jesus about 3 1/2 years after His Anointing can not be included in the 70 7's Prophecy. However, God's Word clearly states that 70 7's are decreed ...TO ATONE FOR WICKEDNESS which occurred about 3 1/2 years after the end of the 69 7's and therefore the first half of the last 7 has already been completed since there are only 3 1/2 times left in the 70 7's. And so the Great Tribulation and the rule of 666 will last exactly 1260 days or 42 months or 3 1/2 times which agrees which God's Divine time periods found in Dan 12:1,2,7b; Dan 7:25 & Rev 13:5. Now many saints believe the reign of 666 and the Great Tribulation are extremely close. I Peter 1:13: �Therefore, prepare your minds for ACTION, and set your hope *FULLY* on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is *REVEALED*!� Mark 13:20: Jesus says, �If the Lord had not cut short those {Tribulation} days, no one would survive. But for the sake of the elect, whom He has chosen, He has shortened them.�The first 69 7's were 365-day years {7 years = 2557 days} but the Last 7 has been shortened to 360-day years and two 1260-day periods or 2520 days. And so God has shortened the last 7 of the 70 7's from 2557 days to two 1260-day periods or 2520 days. As far as your Ellen White post goes, you did not argue against any SDA beliefs in particular, just Ellen White as a false prophet, so there was no call to list all my beliefs and defend them point by point. And I did not say that all prophecies must fail(and I submit that some of the sources that "said" she prophesied certain things are highly questionable and definitely wouldn't hold up in a legal setting), but the bible says that SOME prophesies do fail because we only "prophesy in part" and "know in part". On top of that, in spite of what most people believe about adventists, I do not believe everything she said was inspired, and I do not hold anything she wrote above what I read in the bible. I'm of the opinion that she was a great author and a great messenger and a great reformer and someone who truly lived what she believed, but she is just a human like me, and subject to the same errors and personal opinions that great reformers like Calvin and Luther were capable of. Pick some specific beliefs that Adventists hold, and I'll do my best to defend them. :peace::peace: Post Reply

During that time, diligently pray daily that the Father might deliver you from any doctrinal error that you have been led into through the SDA movement. Spend four hours a day studying the pure Word of God with no other outside influences. Then, go return to the SDA church. Report back to us what your conclusions are in six months. Post Reply
