Billy Graham lived most of his life in a very expensive mansion in Minneapolis and had 6 body guards and 6 expensive sports cars. Billy didn't mix well with poor Christians and enjoyed playing golf with rich people at expensive country clubs.
He also loved playing golf with Richard Nixon who had quite a vulgar vocabulary in private and defended Nixon right till the very end of his presidency. I went to a resort in the cheaper off season and was told that when Nixon was a guest there He continually cussed out his caddy for losing his ball.
I went to Wheaton College where Billy was a speech major. Wheaton presently has the entire first floor of a large building proudly showing hundreds of pictures of Billy during his many crusades and only quoted a few Scriptures. Billy was very popular with many evangelical churches but also worked closely with many liberal churches and the Satanic Roman Catholic church.
Billy Graham's sermons were very emotional but quoted very few Scriptues and always ended with an emotional invitation to accept Jesus as Savior. I went forward during one of his sermons before I was a Christian and it had no effect on my life.

Pat Boone is the type of close friend of Billy Graham that perhaps typifies Billy Graham. He is someone well-received by the public. Billy Graham has enjoyed using him in Crusades. Pat Boone continued playing in Playboy type night clubs while he was singing at Billy Graham Crusades.
For instance, the Protestant Church Life quotes Billy Graham in its 29 Sept 1956 issue, "Referring to the Billy Graham New York Crusade scheduled for May, 1957, Dr. Graham said: �We� re coming to New York not to clean it up, but to get people to dedicate themselves to God and to send them on to their own churches--Catholic, Protestant or Jewish."
Some of the areas that Billy Graham deviates from Scripture are as follows. He is on public record supporting homosexuality, abortion, his disbelief in a literal hell, his support and practice of infant baptism to save children, his support for the Catholic church�s worship of Mary (yet he calls himself a Protestant)

Prophetic,
No mere man can save anyone. Only JESUS SAVES!
Did you expect Billy Graham to have some other-worldly power by which he could convince you to give up your sinful life and be saved?
No. It is a CHOICE we all need to make of our own will, to seek the One who saves: Jesus.
Just as with those addicted to any substance, we each need to reach a point of "rock-bottom," where we can no longer tolerate living the way we are living. That point is different for each person. Which is why every Christian's testimony of how they came to be saved is unique.
There is no individual--no matter how far along in their walk with Christ--who can guarantee you will be saved based on their own works.
About Billy Graham:
Ask yourself this..."What if Billy Graham is Loving all--friend and enemy alike--as the Bible instructs us all to do?"
Or do you believe the Bible tells us to curse our enemies and hate them?
Can you see into Billy Graham's heart, Prophetic? I know I can't, for I am merely human.
May I suggest you let the One who DOES see into men's hearts, and judges the motives of those hearts, do what He does and you just take care of your own problems?
Men are not to be worshipped, anyway. I am not saying I trust those who lead churches/religions, or know what the motives of their hearts are; just saying it's best not to judge someone whom you are not able to know as well as Jesus knows them.
Just remind yourself of the story of the Tower of Babel, from Genesis 11:1-9, and how God handled that situation. Do you think He will let that sort of thing spring up again without doing something about it?
Do not worry about such things, for God is always in control, and He knows what is going on at all times.

Interestingly comments like this illustrate exactly what is wrong with the FALSE Gospel message of men like Graham which goes to prove the OP's point. You won't find this type of reasoning in the Bible.

This line of reasoning misses the whole point. Throwing out statements like this only serve do divert from the argument being made.
By which means does God choose to save?
"For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect, ...For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe."
1 Cor 1:17,21
So then, can a person be saved by the preaching of a FALSE gospel? No, they cannot. The OP's personal testimony is a witness to this fact. He said, "I went forward during one of his sermons before I was a Christian and it had no effect on my life."
.....And why should it have had any effect? A procedural response to a FALSE gospel does NOT save anyone.

when John the Baptist was at the Jordon River...Proclaiming..."Repent" and the people came to be Baptized was not a Call for that very purpose???...

There are many things that Richard posts that I do not agree with. What is his gospel? I don't know. He mostly posts eschatology, rewards, laws, etc.
