I have no intention of having an argument with you about the WORD of GOD Almighty;for i see by your last reply that you do not care about the Word of GOD. For you do not care to understand the truth that the translations are not accurate and a person needs to go to the language from which the translations have been taken from. The English language translations lose the strength and power within the Scriptures,as do ALL the translations from which the Word of GOD has been taken from. Let us take the 'SEE', there are THREE GREEK words for the ONE English word 'see'. Strongs 1492 eid�: be aware, behold, consider, perceive Original Word: οἶδα Part of Speech: Verb Transliteration: eid� Phonetic Spelling: (i'-do) Short Definition: I know, remember Definition: I know, remember, appreciate. HELPS Word-studies 1492 e�dō (oida) � properly, to see with physical eyes (cf. Ro 1:11), as it naturally bridges to the metaphorical sense: perceiving ("mentally seeing"). This is akin to the expressions: "I see what You mean"; "I see what you are saying." 1492 /e�dō ("seeing that becomes knowing") then is a gateway to grasp spiritual truth (reality) from a physical plane. 1492 (e�dō) then is physical seeing (sight) which should be the constant bridge to mental and spiritual seeing (comprehension). Posted : 15 Mar, 2014 11:31 AM No matter HOW you want to translate the word from Greek, we have translated it already from Greek in English as the "Church of God". This Church is believers in the Son of God who is our Creator. Try to translate it using any other word in your English and apply it to your life AND BELIEVE IN THE SON OF GOD or be an unbeliever. If you will NOT believe in our Creator Jesus who is God like His Father then you are an unbeliever and NOT a part of the Church of God. That is what I meant by saying in my posts to you. Ponder. God also instructs us to respect the government in every way that isn't disobeying God. There's nothing wrong with calling a building a church or receiving tax exemption status from government that endorses freedom of religion. IF a church is manipulating the tax exemption status and using building dedicated to God as a den of thieves, THEN you'd have a problem, but it's not safe to assume that and condemn every "church" solely on a word definition. Church: 1: a building for public and especially Christian worship 2: the clergy or officialdom of a religious body 3: often capitalized : a body or organization of religious believers Post Reply

Posted : 22 Mar, 2014 04:41 AM Hi Hit: May i suggest that you look into the roots of the so called 'church' to find where its beginnings are from,and look intot the purpose of the '501c3 tax exempt status,and see who started that status for the 'church' and the purposes behind that status.
