When we accuse the Holy Apostles of being sinners, to excuse ourselves for being sinners, is that right of us? The Apostles are given the mystery's of God, accusers are not, they might seem as deceives but the Holy Apostles are not, it is the false accusers that securely are, who give evil report against the ones who are right in the Lord..2 Corinthians 6:8 By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;
Peter the steward of the Lord was found faithful not unfaithful, and no man has right to judge who the Lord has approved, proving their falseness and we can recover the truth easily enough..
1 Corinthians 4: Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.
2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self.
Peter was to be blamed for what he had been doing, (not accused of sinning) Peter withdrew from the Gentiles company fearing the Jews disapproval, because clearly as yet, the Lord had not shown to Peter and to all people, how the Gentiles are not cleaned, and there is no need in the Jewish law to any longer separate from men who are non Jews, ( they were also not told as yet about the question of circumcision.) Peter clearly is NOT a sinner of the Gentiles. Peter knew these things as the Lord had revealed this to him also and Apostle Paul clarified the situation before the believers who had to learn this mystery from the Lord..
Galatians 2:11 But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.
12 For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.
13 And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.
14 But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?
15 We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,
Before Apostle Paul was making clear the wrong Peter and the others had done through no revelation from the Lord, Peter had this vision from the Lord, of God cleaning the Gentiles, and Peter understood the vision as the Gentiles were then sent to Peter to preach to them and Peter confessed his own lack of previous understanding of how it was UNLAWFUL for Peter a Jew, to keep company with one of another nation, but God showed Peter that no man is unclean any longer, but in every nation, he that fears God and works righteousness is accepted with Him, Peter had kept that law for the Jews but found it impossible to keep when men of all nations want to hear about Christ from Peter and are called to Christ in union with Apostle Peter but the believing Pharisee Jews did not approve(it is the Pharisee believers that wanted circumcision for Gentiles, not Peter as accuser says)
Acts 10:15 And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
16 This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.
17 Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon's house, and stood before the gate,
Acts 10:30 And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing,
31 And said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.
32 Send therefore to Joppa, and call hither Simon, whose surname is Peter; he is lodged in the house of one Simon a tanner by the sea side: who, when he cometh, shall speak unto thee.
33 Immediately therefore I sent to thee; and thou hast well done that thou art come. Now therefore are we all here present before God, to hear all things that are commanded thee of God.
Acts 10:28 And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.
Acts 10:34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I PERCEIVE that God is no respecter of persons:
35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
Acts 15:5 But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.
Before the sinners are converted, and are erring from the truth, they need to confess to hide the multitude of sins. After converted and those sins are hidden, it is rediculus to continue the process as if nothing was achieved or changed, pure wicked reasoning that has no place in the daylight.
James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.
19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;
20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
As for repenting, of course some have not repented yet, others had repented, they kept the word of Christ, they kept His patience, they did not need to repent or would have been told to, but told to keep what they had through what they had done..
Revelation 3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
These others had chastening because they needed to repent, they had kept nothing, and SEE, we are judged as succeeding or failing according to our works, needing to repent or we HAVE REPENTED to receive salvation..
Revelation 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
Are we CLEAR what repentence is? It is not to be repented of. Repenting is clearing of ourselves of the wrong, it is fear of the Lord to not repeat, indignation against the devil to sin not, with great desire and zeal to follow the Lord rightly in all things, be ye angry and sin not, let all evil be put away completely, be with indignation and wrath against the devil who wants us to die in sins, be kind and forgive who still does the wrong, because Christ has forgiven us we do not need to pray any longer for it but need to walk in it..
2 Corinthians 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
11 For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.
Ephesians 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27 Neither give place to the devil.
28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
"Now Adam7777 goes even on step further than Joyce Meyer since he claims that he has **NEVER SINNED** and was **PERFECT** the moment he was saved and he did not receive many spritual qualities in **INCREASING MEASURE ** after he was saved???
2 Peter 1:5-11: Make every effort to add to your faith (A free gift when you are saved-Ephesians 2:8} goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, **LOVE** For if you possess these qualities in **INCREASING MEASURE**, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But if anyone does not have them, he is near sighted and blind, and has forgotten that he was cleansed of **HIS PAST SINS**! Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and **ELECTION** sure and you will receive a **RICH WELCOME** into the **ETERNAL KINGDOM**of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ"
Prophetic says we need to repent and cant have Gods love perfected in us. Read 2 Peter 1:5-11 more carefully, AND WE SEE, we need these qualities ALREADY IN US, "But if anyone does not have them, he is near sighted and blind" because this reproof is to those who clearly DO NOT HAVE THESE QUALITIES. confirmed by the words here of abound meaning to have in large amounts..2 Peter 1:8 FOR IF THESE THINGS BE IN YOU, AND ABOUND, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Prophetic leaves off the important part of 2 Peter 1, Christ GAVE US ALL THINGS THAT PERTAIN UNTO GODLINESS, through the knowledge of Him that called us, to be part taker of His divine nature, escaping corruption of lust and BEING SANCTIFIED, MADE CLEAN, through His word and the receiving o the Holy Ghost. Who keeps His word,(walking in the love of God) verily and truly above prophetics mistaken opinions, they have the love of God PERFECTED IN THEM. We are called to love one another that the false prophetic shows he loves none but himself or can confess that Gods love IS PERFECTED IN US..
2 Peter 1:3 According as his divine power HATH GIVEN UNTO US ALL THINGS THAT PERTAIN UNTO LIFE AND GODLINESS, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, HAVING ESCAPED THE CORRUPTION THAT IS IN THE WORLD THROUGH LUST.
All do sin, it is falling short of the glory of God, and requires this change. Called, justified and glorified...
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD;
Romans 8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and WHOM HE CALLED, THEM HE ALSO JUSTIFIED: and whom he justified, THEM HE ALSO GLORIFIED.
John 15:3 NOW YE ARE CLEAN THROUGH THE WORD THAT I HAVE SPOKEN UNTO YOU.
Hebrews 10:14 For by one offering he hath PERFECTED FOR EVER THEM THAT ARE SANCTIFIED.
1 Corinthians 6:11 And such were some of you: BUT YE ARE WASHED, BUT YE ARE SANCTIFIED, BUT YE ARE JUSTIFIED IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS AND BY THE SPIRIT OF OUR GOD.
Jude 1:1 Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, TO THEM THAT ARE SANCTIFIED BY GOD THE FATHER, AND PRESERVED IN JESUS CHRIST, AND CALLED:
2 Mercy unto you, and peace, and LOVE, BE MULTIPLIED.
1 John 2:5 But WHOSO KEEPETH HIS WORD, IN HIM VERILY IS THE LOVE OF GOD PERFECTED: hereby know we that we are in him.
1 John 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, GOD DWELLETH IN US, AND HIS LOVE IS PERFECTED IN US
Colossians 4:12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may STAND PERFECT AND COMPLETE IN ALL THE WILL OF GOD.
John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
John 14:24 HE THAT LOVETH ME NOT KEEPETH NOT MY SAYINGS: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
Jude 1:21 KEEP YOURSELVES IN THE LOVE OF GOD, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
4 FOR IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR THOSE WHO WERE ONCE ENLIGHTENED, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6 IF THEY SHALL FALL AWAY, TO RENEW THEM AGAIN UNTO REPENTANCE; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
Prophetic, "FORGOT" to include the ACTUAL commandment...
"Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and **ELECTION** sure and you will receive a **RICH WELCOME** into the **ETERNAL KINGDOM**of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!! ""
2 Peter 1:10 Therefore, my brothers and sisters,[a] make every effort to confirm your calling and election. FOR IF YOU DO THESE THINGS YOU WILL NEVER STUMBLE, 11 and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Kjv says abound, niv only says increasing amounts. Being FILLED with the fruits of righteousness, this is love abounding(to have in large amounts) and increasing, not decreasing, after all this IS TO BE SINCERE AND WITHOUT OFFENCE TILL THE DAY OF CHRIST?
Philippians 1:9 And this I pray, that your LOVE MAY ABOUND YET MORE AND MORE IN KNOWLEDGE and in all judgment;
10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; THAT YE MAY BE BE SINCERE AND WITHOUT OFFENCE TILL THE DAY OF CHRIST.
11 BEING FILLED WITH THE FRUITS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
To increase and have in large amounts, (not like niv tries to say to increase amounts and not have in large amounts already) in love one toward another, to have your heart UNBLAMABLE in HOLINESS, (prepared and ready not without being ready as the devil preaches and wants)
1 Thessalonians 3:12 And the Lord MAKE YOU TO INCREASE AND ABOUND IN LOVE one toward another, and toward all men, EVEN AS WE DO TOWARD YOU:
13 To the end HE MAY STABLISH YOUR HEARTS UNBLAMABLE IN HOLINESS before God, even our Father AT THE COMING OF OUR Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.
Here the niv shows what it (and prophetic) MISSED in its translation of ABOUND in the kjv. Read and see it is admitting that ABOUND IS OVERFLOW, SO IN 2 Peter 1:8 it should have shown that these things need to be in us overflowing, abounding, in us in large amounts, as that is DOING THEM..
1 Thessalonians 3:11 Now may our God and Father himself and our Lord Jesus clear the way for us to come to you. 12 May the Lord MAKE YOUR LOVE INCREASE AND OVERFLOW for each other and for everyone else, JUST AS OURS DOES FOR YOU. 13 May he strengthen your hearts SO THAT YOU WILL BE BLAMELESS AND HOLY in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones.
"So when a RIGHTEOUS BELIEVER truly repents of his sin and asks God's forgiveness in his prayers; God may heal THIS RIGHTEOUS BELIEVER of his sickness for James 5:14-16 states that "Is any among you sick? Let him call the **ELDERS** of the church to pray over them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well, the Lord will raise them up! Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous **MAN** {All **ELDERS** are men} is powerful and effective!!""
Look again and we SEE, the sick person LACKED FAITH. First the man had to gain faith, to confess his sins. The ones who are SICK, need to hear the exhortation here,(after all it IS for them) THEY NEED TO BE HEALED, THEY ALSO WERE SICK....
James 5:15 And the prayer of faith shall SAVE THE SICK, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, THAT YE MAY BE HEALED. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
James 5:19-20 does confirm AGAIN, this was the sinner, in error, in death, had not had his multitude of past sins forgiven as was NOT CONVERTED..
James 5:19 Brethren, if any of you do ERR FROM THE TRUTH, and ONE CONVERT HIM;
20 Let him know, that he which CONVERTETH THE SINNER FROM THE ERROR OF HIS WAY shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
Isaiah 6:10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and CONVERT, AND BE HEALED.
Matthew 13:15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should BE CONVERTED, AND I SHOULD HEAL THEM.
Matthew 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, EXCEPT YE BE CONVERTED, and become as little children, ye SHALL NOT ENTER into the kingdom of heaven.
Mark 4:12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they SHOULD BE CONVERTED, Marks Gospel is inspired here and everywhere too), and their sins should be forgiven them.
Luke 22:32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and WHEN THOU ART CONVERTED, (To Peter for when converted receiving the Holy Ghost when Christ risen), strengthen thy brethren.
Acts 3:19 REPENT YE THEREFORE, AND BE CONVERTED, THAT YOUR SINS MAY BE BLOTTED OUT, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
It is REPEATED, why they are sick and who. Not righteous believers as prophetic wishes to deceive, they are ones who believe but drink unworthily, and for THAT CAUSE, many are sickly and many die because of exactly that, so examine yourself and be WORTHY of the LORD
1 Corinthians 11:27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, UNWORTHILY, shall be GUILTY of the body and blood of the Lord.
28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
29 For he that eateth and drinketh UNWORTHILY, eateth and drinketh DAMNATION TO HIMSELF, NOT DISCERNING the Lord's body.
30 For this cause MANY ARE WEAK AND SICKLY AMONG YOU, and many sleep.
