Whom does God save?

The short answer = Whomever He pleases.

-

There are some who believe it was decided who would be saved, even before the foundation of the world and "all" individuals have no choice in the matter.

Scripture clearly teaches the 'Church' has had a predetermined destination before the foundation of the world, however I see no clear teaching that every individual is only chosen one and the same way before the foundation of the world - no exceptions.

God is Sovereign; He chooses and saves whomever, however and whenever He pleases. While mans own righteousness can never save him, there are plenty examples in Scripture where the actions of a person has receivedthe attention of God.

A Truly Sovereign God is Not bound by the "Tulip Rulebook" He bound only by His own nature.

No one loves Jesus before conversion. I'm not sure how you can read scripture and come to this conclusion. All righteousness is like filthy rags. The unconverted cannot please God and cannot love God.

So Peter did not love Jesus before he was converted? I understand that Peter did not love Jesus more than himself, but that was not my point. Read the gospels and the relationship between Peter and Jesus with the fact in mind that Peter was not converted until after he denied Christ three times. He did love Jesus, he did obey Jesus, he did follow Jesus, he did confess that Jesus was the Messiah. All before conversion.

Why would I read with that in mind when it's not true? How about I read scripture and learn from it instead of placing your restrictions on it?

It's true because it's scripture, if you have a different interpretation of it, I would like to hear it.

"But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren."

Jesus is talking to Peter right before Jesus was betrayed by Judas.

"And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven."

Jesus is saying that you can't get to heaven unless you're converted or born again. And it's fairly obvious that not too many of the disciples were very "born again". Almost all of them missed the entire point of Jesus' ministry on earth, and almost all of them were very worried about their positions of honor in the kingdom.

"Whoosh"

I see that you are not following the conversation very well. Mark has asked me to read scripture with his views in mind. He made a bold claim that Peter wasn't a believer before he denied Jesus. He wanted me to accept that. I'm asking why I should accept that. Maybe now you can follow the conversation and actually add something of substance.

Mark, we've been through this type of thing before with you, where you give an english translation and rest on specific words to prove your point. These verses do not at all teach that Peter was not already converted.

"31 Simon, Simon, behold, Satan demanded to have you,[d] that he might sift you like wheat, 32 but I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned again, strengthen your brothers. 33 Peter[e] said to him, Lord, I am ready to go with you both to prison and to death. 34 Jesus[f] said, I tell you, Peter, the rooster will not crow this day, until you deny three times that you know me.

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

To answer the OP question...who does God save...whosoever (anyone who) calls on Him
