Very interesting!!Posted : 17 Sep, 2013 07:11 PMPlease have a good look at the following thread. I was not on CDFF during this time. This is exactly what I continue to speak about here. You will notice that a young lady asks a question. The first response is a wall of scripture and then comes the "majority crowd" offering up their opinions. Again, I was not here at all during this time. Read the comments from LTM, Jude, TruthCarrier and so on. Notice the lack of Scripture. Then, at the start of page two the wall of Scripture is presented again. Please read the comments that follow. |

Very interesting!!Posted : 19 Sep, 2013 05:19 AMLTM -- I always get a little chuckle when I hear a "believer" speak of "self esteem" or "low self esteem". The Bible would refer to this as "PRIDE". You may have the desire to build yourself up in "self esteem" (pride) but I do not. I will go on suffering from, as you put it.. "low self esteem" |

Very interesting!!Posted : 21 Sep, 2013 12:10 PMAnd the verses I supplied also define a very biblical version of "groupthink" in Christ. The issue lies in the idea that think you know which "groupthink" is being displayed toward you. If you would put aside your judgmental attitude, we would have very few problems. You can continue to disagree and point out our errors, but we should do it in Christ's attitude, not the attitude where you consider us all enemies who like to use demonic ploys at every turn. |

Very interesting!!Posted : 21 Sep, 2013 12:26 PM:laugh: There you go changing definitions again Mark --- Just like you do with Biblical terms. Follow and apply the definitions given by the sources and stop reinventing things to suit your own arguments. |

Very interesting!!Posted : 22 Sep, 2013 07:18 AMI don't see a change of definition. Jesus wants us all to be of one mind. No disagreement, to be in harmony with all the brethren. Shunning those who try to bring in outside ideas, avoiding those who vainly babble and dispute what was taught by a few men, putting away those who continually "resist the truth". Sounds like exactly the right definition. Christians were persecuted and shunned, they were considered a sect by the rest of the religions and peoples around them, and they also reproved and "put away" some in their own circle who weren't following their "groupthink" ideals. |
