Posted : 11 Aug, 2025 11:29 AM The Bible says "REMAIN in me and I will REMAIN in you" (John 15) If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. (John 15:6) Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off. (Romans 11:22) NIV or Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in His goodness. Otherwise, thou also shalt be cut off. Romans 11:22 (King James) Our assurance of salvation is while we REMAIN in Christ and CONTINUE IN THE LORD. Post Reply

He loves his creation and sought to redeem his creation. Such is our hope, the love of God for both males and females. Our greater enemy is not each other, but the one who set us against God and set us against each other. That being the Devil. He caused divisions from the beginning. He does it well in church as well. But true! God loves both male and female. We both need correcting. The Bible is to be The "Go-To" Book. The Bible is a Relational Guidebook to all relationships. The more we read it, the more we see our own errors. Post Reply

WalkNTalk View Profile History	Is "Once Saved, Always Saved" what the Bible teaches? Posted : 17 Aug, 2025 05:27 PM Most pastors speak well of women on Mother's Day and badly of men. But I heard one pastor preach on Mother's Day and he really ripped into women. Then I understood why the church had such few people. But it amazed me how well the women took the sermon. Other places, the women may have got up and marched out. I used to do that at movie theaters. I did not like the movie, I'd walk out. Yep! Some sermons are hard to hear. But some people are really off. There again, we must read the Bible. The Bible is a better authority than anyone (less than Christ or God). Great if one truly gets the Holy Spirit. But how often does the Holy Spirit contradict the scriptures? So, we must compare things along scripture and measure things along scripture. We are not perfect beings, but we have the Bible. Yes, some of us are lop-sided and some of us lean one way more than another and some of us would never be pastors because no church will take us. But even the prophets get rejected. Jerusalem stoned the prophets and stoned those sent to them by God. Imperfect beings! We are no more righteous than Israel. We also falter. There is the problem. FALTERING! We are to wear the Word. Keep it on our heads and hearts and take it with us in the going out and coming in. Post Reply
