And I hope your post of these passages is not to try and prove that only Calvinists are chosen or are the elect becasue not one of these passages have anything to to do with a religious group other than those people of God. The first passage has to do with Moses speaking to the children of Israel explaingint o them that becasue of their fathers Abraham issac and Jacob, they have been chosen as God's people, but that God is no respecter of person and He was not going to put up with their sins any longer. This is a pepe talk Moses gives to them after the writing of the second stone had bee written.
The Psalms that you have presented all have to do with God calling His people to come before Him in praise and worship to His name, so this is for ALL, EVERYPERSON ON EARTH who beleieves in Jesus Christ and God oru Father to offer up praise and honor to His holy name..
So my question, although this is to Jude, but I would like to know if you are trying to use these passages to support the false doctrine of Calivins theology as thinking that you are the elect and the chosen because you are Calvinists? OR is it that WE ALL who believe in Jesus Christ as our Personal Lord and Savior are the elect and chosen righteous people of God and that God requires that WE ALL come before Him in praise and honor and glory and blessing to His powerful name?
Those scripture passages PROVE NOT ONE THING ABOUT ELECTION OR BEEN CHOSEN! It is God who requires and calls ALL BELIevers to come before Him and give him the honor and power He deserves, and the Psalms is what David is doing! PERIOD! And Moses exhortaing the childrn of Israel to stay focuse on their delivers, who is their God! cuz, God ain't playing games with this generation as He was so patient with Abraham, and the others... even so today!
If a person has to go throughout the WHOLE Bible to find scriptures with the words chosen, or elect or called in them and then use the passage out of CONTEXT AND CONTENT to prove their doctrine then something is seriously worng with the doctrine, its of men and not God.
God's word speaks for its self, either you are a born agan saved Christian believer based on God's salvation plan for ALL people, or you're not! Scripture passages with a certain word in it DOES NOT PROVE you are a born again believer in Jesus Christ, nor does it rpove your personal relationship WITH JESUS CHRIST OR GOD!
People need to get over them selves and worship the one and only Holy Almighty, only wise God. Stop picking and choosing what scripture you want to believe and read the whole bible.
It is not a buffet you can not believe only what you want.

No dear heart, you are the one who has PICKED out scripture passages to support your belief that you have been taught as a Calvinist.
Everyone of those passages speaks about being chosen. If you would like for people to read what God really says, then its no more than spiritually right and edifying that YOU post the whole passages or at least the first two or three passages that are before or after what it is you're trying to point out or prove, and THEN explain what it is that you're pointing out in a particular passages.
C'mon DLJ, you know the purpose and intent behind you seeking out these particular passages... don't play games... if you really want someone to know God's word, then YOU post the whole chapter so they will know what the content and context of the certain passages is all about. Stop half stepping, and get your focus on Jesus Christ, don't you people see that as long as your focus ins not on Jesus the devil is getting the glory, becasue God has told us in His word to preach no other doctrine than that of Jesus Christ. Last time I read Calivn's name is not in the Bible neither is his false theology. or doctrine or teachings.

ALL who believe in Jesus Christ are the elect and chosen ones, not just a certain group of people... beng called the elect or chosen which ,means the same, was apart of the salvation plan that WHOSOEVER BELIEVED IN JESUS CHRIST God would make then His elect and chosen people to reign with His Son as coheirs with Christ, sons and daughters of God, His children..
Everything that God created, His desire is that it all be regconciled back to Himself because we all came from him, but He also knows this will not be so, but He has provided opportunity for everything he created to return back to Him... and this includes ALL PEOPLE who receive His Son!
