Why prosperity, because it is who the father is and he has always desired for his children to be provided for abundantly in all things.
De 8:18 But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
Red alert?: The god of this world's systems is hateful of this truth and is always endeavoring to steal it from the children of the covenant.
You will never find a clearer picture of the Father's blessing upon mankind, than you see in the beginning of genesis. This was the perfect will of the father from the beginning and he changeth not.
Not only did he gave Adam and Eve the earth and everything in it, he then spoke these words over them be fruitful and multiply, the first time you see the blessing upon man from the father and it continues thru out the word of God, the will of the father for man upon the earth has never changed and know man is redeemed back to the place of Adam in Christ.
The other Acct in genesis concerning the serpent is still the same as it was then and he still is the voice against prosperity, and always will be as long as he can speak, he hates man's position with the father and the blessing upon in Christ Jesus.
Ps. 112:1 Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.
Ps. 112:2 The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.
Ps. 112:3 His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
Ps. 112:4 He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.
Ps. 112:5 He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.

Ps. 112:7 The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.

Ps. 112:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
The perfect will of God concerning prosperity, not all that could be said but it is the perfect will of God.
There is nothing more Satanic and evil than the Satanic New Age Prosperity Gospel as taught by Joel Osteen, ET and PJ who teach us to love the world and the things in the world.
John 18:36: Jesus says, "My KINGDOM is *NOT* of this world.... But now MY Kingdom is from another place!"
I John 2:15: "Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world:devil: the love of the Father is not in him."
Luke 4:5,6: The Devil:devil: led Jesus up to a very high place and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world. And he said to Him, "I will give you all their authority and splendor, for *IT HAS BEEN GIVEN TO ME*, and I can give it to anyone I want to."

Rev 21 1:1-3: Then I saw a NEW HEAVEN and a NEW EARTH, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. {THEN} I saw the NEW JERUSALEM, coming down out of heaven from God...,And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, �Now the dwelling of God is with men, and He will live with them! You will note that the New Jerusalem will come only *AFTER the present heaven and earth have passed away on the DAY OF THE LORD! Read Hebrews 11:10, 14-16 & John 14:1-3.
Hebrews 11:1: "Now *FAITH* is being sure of what we hope for and *CERTAIN OF WHAT WE DO NOT SEE!!"
2 Corinthians 4:18: �So we fix our eyes:rolleyes: not on what is seen, but on what is *UNSEEN*. For what is seen is temporary, but what is *UNSEEN is eternal.

Matthew 4:8,9: The Devil took Jesus to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. "All this I will give you," he said," if you will bow down and worship me. Jesus said to him, "Away from me, Satan! Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only!"
The Prosperity Gospel of Osteen, PJ and ET teaches us to love the world and the things in the world and the god of this world who is Satan not Jesus.
In the old covenant God's commandments were only preached to Jews but in the New Covenant Jesus commands us to preach to every nation in the world teaching them to obey *EVERYTHING* He commanded and everything would also include all of the approximately 400 NT commandments also taught in Acts to Revelation {See 2 Timothy 3-16 to 4:2.}
Jesus also eliminated the earthly rewards for faithful service and commanded us to sell our possessions and give to the poor and get *TREASURES IN HEAVEN* and **THEN** come follow Him.
Luke 12:33,34: Jesus says, �Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will not be exhausted....For where your treasure is there your heart will be also.�:angel:
Matthew 20:20-24: �All these {Commandments} I have kept, the young man said. �What do I still lack?� Jesus answered, �If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. **THEN** come, follow Me.� When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth. Then Jesus says, �It is hard for a rich man to enter the *KINGDOM OF HEAVEN*. It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to enter the *KINGDOM OF GOD*.�
This inspired passage shows that the *KINGDOM OF HEAVEN* and the *KINGDOM OF GOD* are one and the same!!
Luke 6:20: Jesus says �Blessed are you who are *POOR*, for *YOURS* is the *KINGDOM OF GOD*.�
Matthew 19:27-30: Peter said to Jesus, �We have left **EVERYTHING** to follow you! What then will there be for us?� Jesus says, �I tell you the Truth, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on His glorious throne, you who have followed Me {Including Paul}will also sit on 12 thrones...And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or fields for My sake will receive 100 times as much and will inherit eternal life. But many who are first {like Osteen & his followers} will be last, and many who are last {In this life} will be first.� And there will be plenty of room for 100 houses and 100 fields in the New Jerusalem since it will be over 1377 miles long and wide and high.
I John 2:3-5: �We know that we have come to know Him if we *OBEY HIS COMMANDS*. The man who says, �I know him,� but does not do what He commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys His Word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in Him.�

I Timothy 2:9,10: �I also want women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God.�
The early saints followed these commands of Jesus and the NT Covenant:
Acts 2:44,45: "*ALL* the believers were together:rolleyes: and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need." Acts 4:32: "*ALL* the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had.":angel:
Revelation 22:12: Jesus says, "Behold, I am coming soon! My *REWARD* is *WITH ME*, and I will give to everyone:rolleyes: according to what he has done!" {When He comes, not now}
2 Corinthians 5:9,10: "So we make it our goal to please Him..For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him {Not NOW} for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad!"
Matthew 16:27: Jesus says, For the Son of Man is going to come in His **FATHER'S GLORY WITH HIS ANGELS**{See Matt 24:30-31;25:31-40}, and **THEN** {Not with earthly rewards now} He will *REWARD* each person:rolleyes: according to what he has done."

When God speaks of being prosperous, or prosperity, or to prosper He is NOT SPEAKING ABOUT FININACIAL WEALTH, He speaks about being successful in what you do and having well good being is all things.
We all know that Jesus is the ONLY answer to prosperity in all things, but prosperity IS NOT ABOUT BEING RICH IN MONEY.
Being prosperous is also about having more than enough in those things to meet your personal needs and obligations. It is about being able to make your monthly bills each month without robbing Peter to pay Paul and having to move from place to place because you cannot pay your rent or light bills or car note or whatever is needed or loans.
God speaks much about living a good life not only for Him and before Him, and how he will prosper us. But living a good life of success in your living conditions.
So those who DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE MEANING OF THE WORD PROSPERITY OR PROSPER, OR BEING PROSPEROUS need to look the word up in a dictionary for your own edification.
God never required of us to be poor or not receive His blessing whether it is financially, spiritually, mentally, or emotionally.
When I speak of prosperity I am speaking about being able to meet those needs of a better lifestyle of living... and this is what God is speaking about.
Those of you who do not know what God is speaking about in His word have need to READ and know the difference with understanding and this is what the others and I are speaking about. We ARE NOT SPEAKING ABOUT SEEKING TO BE RICH... although that would be nice, :yay:
But we speak about being prosperous (BLESSED BY GOD) as God sees being prospeous. And if you read God's world clearly God also say He exhalts one and bring down another. He also say that exhaltation comes neither from the east nor the west but from the Lord. He also say that He IS THE ONE WHO PROSPEROUS A PERSON, He als speaks much about being in debt and owing no man nothing but love... so lets not get what God say mixed up with what you THINK He says and means.. READ with spiritual understanding His word.
If a person needs a better job, and is blessed by God to find a better job to meet their needs THIS IS CALLED PROSPERITY, it is A BLESSING FROM THE LORD...
ALL BLESSINGS FROM GOD ARE CONSIDERED PROSPERITY! The word prosperity and prosperous and prosper all have many meanings, But I see those of you can only find one meaning, yet you yourselves have need for God's prosperity others on this forum. And its not about seeking or asking God to be rich, its about being financially stable...
God never intended for His children to be poor. beg for bread or anything, or be in debt and do without... He already said the poor will be with us always, and those who are the HAVE'S are required to help the HAVE NOT'S... and the HAVE NOT'S ARE EXHORTED TO ASK AND SEEK AND KNOCK AT GOD'S THRON ROOM OF GRACE FOR HELP AND MERCY IN THE TIME OF NEED!

Certainly we agree that Joel Osteen has the gift of EXHORTATION and that he EXHORTS his Satanic followers to follow all the commands and principles of Satan which are the exact opposite of what Jesus taught. Osteen's Satanic prosperity Gospel is only popular in rich countries like the USA where about 80% of the poor have TV's, cell phones, cars, welfare checks and food stamps.

It looks like this in the KJV & it reads purty good to�but the word prosperty is not found in the New Testament...Why is that ?
1.Deuteronomy 23:6~ Thou shalt not seek their peace nor their prosperity all thy days for ever.
2.1 Samuel 25:6 ~ And thus shall ye say to him that liveth in prosperity, Peace be both to thee, and peace be to thine house, and peace be unto all that thou hast.
3.1 Kings 10:7 ~ Howbeit I believed not the words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the half was not told me: thy wisdom and prosperity exceedeth the fame which I heard.
4.Job 15:21 ~ A dreadful sound is in his ears: in prosperity the destroyer shall come upon him.
5.Job 36:11 ~ If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
6.Psalm 30:6 ~ And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.
