This Topic is not hard to know, but it is one where the traditions of men abound to overflowing.
The Word of God Is The Will of God For Man..
It is interesting to note that in Romans 12:2:
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
1. It is the new man in christ that is responsibile for the renewing of his mind, that this new man may prove what is that good, acceptable, will of God.
A. The you in this verse is understood as man, a spirit being
B. The mind of man is not saved when one is born again, and man must renew it to the will of God by studying the word of God.
1. note in this scripture there are three levels of the will of God
On this forum there is much controversery concerning the lost and how can be born again.
The perfect Will of God is revealed in this scripture, and we want to note that in finding the Will of God for mankind, it is known that the word normally reveals the wiill of the father, and for the perfect will of the father to come to past, it invovles man receiving what has already been provided for him in the covenant.
This is a starting place for some I believe but to understood the will of God for man it is essential to understood the father is the author and example of bible faith, he does and says all he does as an act of faith, and every word he has proclaimed is full of the life of God, full of faith, full of power.
Rom 4:16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
Rom 4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
Rom 4:18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
Rom 4:19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Saras womb:
20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
It is the father that first called things that be not as though they where. and this is how faith see's man according the perfect plan of redemption, if it was expressed in the covenant the father see's all of man by faith in the provision, remeber that is the perfect will of God.
For the lost the perfect will of the father is expressed clearly in this scripture:
2nd Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to usward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
1st Tim 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
1st Tim 2:6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
1st Tim 2:7 Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.
