hwkns_dn View Profile History	Faith in Christ Posted : 2 Mar, 2012 07:55 AM Jesus when He was on the cross gave salvation to the guy next to Him because knowing who Jesus was he asked Christ for salvation from that awful fate that awaited him. Faith is Believing that Christ went to the cross for you and not only believing but putting that faith into action and asking for the salvation that only He can give. LUKE 23:41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. 42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. 43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise. You can ask as simple as the man on the cross as long as you have full faith in Christ. Thomas on the other hand wanted to see physical proof or he wouldn't believe. JOHN 20:25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe. 26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. 27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. 28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. If you�re not saved today Here is a sample prayer ask God for salvation in Jesus Christ�s Name. Have faith in what your praying and you will be saved. �Dear Heavenly father I know that I have sinned against you and am deserving of punishment. But Christ took the punishment that I deserve, so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven." "Jesus Christ, with your help I place my trust in you for salvation, and I ask that you will forgive me of my sins. I thank you for your wonderful grace and forgiveness.� Come and tell a Christian church you have asked for salvation and go to Sunday school you will find the study of the bible to be a great help as you grow as a Christian. I just think we need to be careful with easy believism and saying a simple prayer to call ourselves saved. View Profile History	Faith in Christ Posted : 5 Mar, 2012 01:29 PM It takes one to hear first, then as a ractional being or free moral agent, you have to deciede within your inner man weather to believe what you heard or not, but once you believe in your heart(inner man) then you confess with your mouth........ FOR WITH THE HEART A MAN BELIEVETH, AND WITH THE MOUTH CONFESSION IS MADE UNTO SALVATION. Rom>10:10. Post Reply

That is the reason at the end I tell them to go to a Christian Church and to Sunday school. So they can learn and if they didn�t understand me they could talk to someone. I am just getting the message out God will take it from there and let them hear Him and not me. Post Reply
