What love is this? xoPosted : 4 Aug, 2013 07:06 PMThe love of the Bible does not consist in never disapproving anybody's religious opinions. Here is another most serious and growing delusion. There are many who pride themselves on never pronouncing others mistaken, whatever views they may hold. Your neighbor may be an Atheist, or a Buddhist, or a Roman Catholic, or a Mormonite, a Deist, or a Skeptic, a mere Formalist, or a thorough Antinomian. But the "love" of many says that you have no right to think him wrong! "If he is sincere, it is uncharitable to think unfavorably of his spiritual condition!" *( one can add "free willer/Arminian to that list) * |

What love is this? xoPosted : 4 Aug, 2013 07:53 PMThis is a great post I get afraid to talk about Y-shua. Although with non-Jews I think I sometimes have a better in than most because most people will open conversation when they see my Hebrew Bible at work and then I get to tell them I am Messianic. They ask me without fail, in some form, can I be a Jew and believe in jesus??? I always laugh and say I dont know anything more Jewish than believing in the Messiah and it opens my witness. But when it come to my people those who are atheist are all good its like telling the average Jo about messiah. However, the religious is hard because you really have to be versed. The hardest of all to witness to Jew/non-Jew is those I see on a daily basis or weekly (gas station clerk, grocery clerk) I am the type of person who has said the sinners prayer with Y-shua and they type of person when I am not walking with Him have left a bad taste I peoples mouth about Him. The only thing that makes me sleep at night a lot of the time is knowing G-ds love for them will send someone else and His grace is greater than me. To win souls to Him is fare better than my pride or my arrogance for the day to think I matter more. Self-love is the only reason for my sin to be so cough up in me I dont stand the course and bring people home. |
