Their false gospel does not have the power to save a single soul... unless of course that soul decides of their own "free will" to "accept Jesus". In their twisted delusion, Christ died in vain just hoping that some hopelessly lost dead sinner would eventually will himself to life, give himself ears to hear and eyes to see, and then choose to open the door of his heart (which he has now softened on his own by his own free will) and let Christ in. :dunce:
To presume that you're just automatically saved and can never be lost? Or to understand that we must believe and repent, and bear fruits worthy of repentance or we'll be cut off?
I'd say the former is the "easy believism", and from what I see, except in rare cases, it's a grand way to have pride in oneself and avoid any attempts at a changed heart that has mercy and devoid of a desire for everyone to come to a knowledge of the truth.

"I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance."
A sinner who repents causes much joy in heaven, how much joy is in heaven for one who believes that they don't have to repent to be saved?
