Did you know that the {angel??} Gabriel was called a **MAN** two times as it is recorded in Daniel 8:15,16 and Daniel 9:21!!!
Daniel 8:15,16: While I, Daniel, was watching the vision and trying to understand it, there before me stood one who looked like a **MAN**{Gabriel} And I heard a man's voice from the Ulai calling, "Gabriel (Who looked like a **MAN**} tell this man the meaning of the vision."
Daniel 9:21,22: Daniel said, "While I was still in prayer, Gabriel, the **MAN** I had seen in the earlier vision, came to me in swift flight. He instructed me and said to me, "Daniel, I have now come to give you insight and understanding!!" And then the *MAN** called Gabriel gave Daniel the amazing prophecy of the 70 7's in Daniel 9:24-27!!
Acts 13:22 God said, I have found David son of Jesse a **MAN** after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do!"
David is called a **MAN** after God's own heart and Jesus is called the Son of David 17 times. And Gabriel means "**MAN** of God" in Hebrew !!!
David is called an angel {Greek Word} "Angelos" in Luke 1:26 but "angelos" can also be translated "messenger" and John the Baptist is called an "angelos" even though he was a **MAN** in Matthew 11:10; Mark 1:2 and Luke 7:27! "I will send My messenger {ANGELOS} ahead of You!"
And so the angel {GREEK-ANGELOS} Gabriel can also be translated the messenger Gabriel and since Gabriel is a *MAN** according to the inspired Word of God in Daniel 8:15,16 and Daniel 9:21 then Gabriel should definately be translated the *MESSENGER* Gabriel and not the angel Gabriel in Luke 1:19,26,30!!
Luke 1:26-33: God sent the angel {messenger} Gabriel to Nazareth to a virgin pledged to be married, a descendant of *DAVID*. The virgins name was mary...The angel {messenger} said to her "You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give Him the throne of His father **DAVID**, and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever; His Kingdom will never end!!
And so Gabriel which means *MAN* of God in Hebrew is definately a *MAN* as per Daniel 8:15,16 and Daniel 9:21 and not an angel. And their is much evidence that suggests David who was a "*MAN* after God's own heart who will do everything God asks him do!" is also Gabriel!

The bible refers to "man" many times in many circumstances, and it does not always denote gender or species. In Joshua, a "man" appeared, but caused Joshua to worship Him, because it was actually God. A "man" wrestled with Jacob, but it was actually God. Gabriel can be called a "man" and a "messenger" and still be an immortal "angel" of heaven.

It is true that Jacob wrestled with a man but it was immediatedly pointed out that the man was also God and therefore not a man.
However Gabriel is mentioned exactly 5 times in God's Word. In Daniel 8:16 and Daniel 9:21 Gabriel is called a *MAN* and nowhere does it specify in Daniel that Gabriel is also an angel. And Gabriel in Hebrew means **MAN** OF GOD.
Gabriel is also called in the inspired Greek "angelos" 3 times in Luke 1:19,26,30 and the man John the Baptist was called "angelos" 3 times in the inspired Greek and we know that angleos can be translated in English to either *MESSENGER* or *ANGEL*. And since we know from Daniel 8:16 and Daniel 9:21 that Gabriel is a *MAN** and it is not further specified that he was also an angel. we can safely conclude that the 3 times Gabriel is called an "angelos" in Luke 1 it should be translated in English to *MESSENGER* and not angel!!
He instructed me and said to me, "Daniel, I have now come to give you insight and understanding!!"
