It is interesting in this metro-sexual world, where men are encouraged to shave every hair off of their bodies, including their chest hairs, armpits, arms and legs, that this practice is not biblical, but is considered to be wicked?

Men of God have for thousands of years wore the beard of the sanctified men who lived before them, including the Messiah. We are even encouraged in Jude, to seek the faith once delivered to the saints, and to mimic their lifestyles.

We see this from Moses and Aaron, in their generation, to David and the men of his generation, to even the Messiah, Jesus, Who obeyed the Father and wore a beard (which was plucked out):

"Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints." Jude 3

If it is written, in the Word of God, that men of God wear beards, so as to demonstrate their sanctification and separation from the men of this world who shave their faces, and alter their God-given appearance, then why are these so-called "believers", shaving their faces, and why are these so-called "godly women" set against a man who is biblical and obeys the scripture, which calls for men to be imitators of previous men and ancient biblical faith?

All men of the Bible, are seen to wear a beard, from Moses and Aaron, to David, to even Jesus..

The LORD commanded that all men are to wear beards throughout the 1,000 generations:

"You are not to cut off the hair at the sides of your head or mar the edge of your beard." Leviticus 19:27

Per the command of the LORD, Aaron and the men of his day all wore a beard:

"It is like the precious oil on the head, running down on the beard, on the beard of Aaron, running down on the collar of his robes!" Psalms 133:2

King David and all of the men of his generation, all wore beards, as well:

"When someone came and told David about the men, he sent messengers to meet them, for they were greatly humiliated. The king said, 'Stay at Jericho till your beards have grown, and then come back.' " I Chron 19:5

The Messiah, Jesus, He too had a beard, which was plucked from His face:

"I gave my back to those who strike, and my cheeks to those who pull out the beard; I hid not my face from disgrace and spitting." Isaiah 50:6

Just a thought to provoke you to genuine faith..

I'm not sure you're on to anything here. I would like to see some more bible verses exhorting the brethren to grow beards before I would start calling people unbelievers. I think I would caution you in the same way that Paul cautioned the Jews about circumcision.

Acts 15:24

24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:

The JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.

The Scripture does not say,the just shall live be growing a beard.

Salvation is by GRACE thru FAITH,not of works, growng a beard would be works.

Did i hear the old Gong show gong sound off.

I don't believe a beard is required for salvation, but it has always been a sign of masculinity. A man with a shaven face is rebelling against Torah, just as a woman who shaves her head. I have heard and read that clean-shaven men started with homosexuals making themselves look like women. In Biblical times, Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans shaved. Sexual perversion was rampant among them. Israelites, Persians, and Babylonians wore beards. Today a shaven face doesn't mean you're gay, but it is a violation of Torah, and it is a sin.

As for not being "under the law", this point is nonsense since shaving one's face is seen as being effeminate, something which is forbidden in the NT also. One cannot deny that shaving the face makes one look more like a woman. Shaving the face is really a type of cross-dressing, that is why it is forbidden in Old and New Testaments.

I don't believe being clean shaven is a sin, perhaps it violates the laws for the government of the Jews, but being uncircumcised violates that law even more. As Christians, there is a distinct difference between keeping those laws and being righteous. I'm of the opinion that God only added the old testament "torah" laws to the 10 commandments because the Jews as a nation did not follow God in the way that He wanted them to, and all of those laws were added as a witness against them in order to show them how futile their attempts at a works based holiness were. God wanted their hearts and minds, not the sacrifices or outward displays. If you believe not having a beard is sin, then you have your work cut out for you in following the rest of those laws, including sacrifices/feast days/building fences around the roof of your house/etc.
