WITHOUT HOLINESS NO MAN SHALL SEE the LORD!
Posted : 28 Aug, 2014 07:23 AM
Brothers,
Holiness and godly life is one of the main doctrines of Christianity and our churches do NOT want to teach that!
But our God Jesus CLEARLY teaches us to be HOLY for God is HOLY!
"Follow peace with all men, and HOLINESS:angel:, without which NO man shall SEE the Lord:"
Does this verse TRULY mean that without HOLINESS in our lives that NO man living a life WITHOUT holiness will SEE the Lord, in that, NO man will be able to ENTER into the Kingdom of God nor RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE when they die or when Jesus returns IF SO BE that they are found to be UNFAITHFUL and WITHOUT HOLINESS when they die or when Jesus comes again?
God said YES!
Matthew 24:12,13, where Jesus is clearly teaching us that in the last days SIN will ABOUND and the LOVE of MANY Christians will grow cold. And then Jesus follows up with a WARNING for all believers to ENDURE unto the END, because it will be that ONLY those true born again/born from God believers who ENDURE unto the END that shall be SAVED and inherit ETERNAL LIFE in the world to COME.
But he that shall ENDURE unto the end (referring to the END being the end of the AGE, when Jesus RETURNS to our planet to execute the WRATH of Almighty God), the SAME shall be saved (speaking of ONLY those FAITHFUL believers who do NOT let their LOVE grow cold and fall back into SIN:devil::angeldevil:, but RATHER it is ONLY those true born again believers who ENDURE unto the END that shall be SAVED and RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE when Jesus comes again AT His SECOND coming)."
Jesus speaks:
"LABOR (or WORK) not for the MEAT which perishes, BUT (but WHAT? BUT rather WORK) for that MEAT which endures UNTO everlasting life, which the Son of man/JESUS SHALL give unto you: for him has God the Father sealed."
John 6:26
Jesus said in John 8:31,32 about us being his disciples IF and ONLY IF we CONTINUE in His WORD/OBEYING Him!
"Then said Jesus to those Jews which BELIEVED on him, IF you CONTINUE in my WORD, THEN (or then and ONLY THEN) are you my disciples indeed..
Jesus goes on to preach and teach to us in John 12:46-48.
"I am come a light into the world, that whosoever BELIEVES on me should NOT ABIDE (or continue to live in) in darkness.
47. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
48. He that rejects me, and receives NOT my WORDS, has one that JUDGES him: the WORD that I have spoken, the SAME shall JUDGE him in the last day."
In Titus 1:16 we read of believers that profess that they know God, but their WORKS say otherwise. The same is true with some Christians today. They SAY that they are Christians, they SAY that they LOVE God, they SAY the they are SAVED, but their WORKS deny that they serve God.
"They PROFESS that they know God; BUT in WORKS they deny him, being abominable, and DISOBEDIENT, and unto every good work reprobate."
Jesus WARNS us:
"I know you WORKS, and your LABOR, and your patience, and how you can not bear them which are evil: and you hast tried them which SAY they are apostles, and are NOT, and has FOUND them LIARS:"
Remember therefore from where you are FALLEN, and REPENT, and DO the first WORKS; OR ELSE I will come unto you quickly, and will REMOVE your candlestick out of his place, except you REPENT."
Rev 2
Jesus says:
Remember therefore how you have received and heard, and hold fast, and REPENT. If therefore you shall NOT WATCH, I will come on YOU (those Christians who are NOT WATCHING and KEEPING the WORKS of Jesus) as a THIEF, and you shall NOT know what hour I will come upon you.
4. You have a FEW names even in Sardis which have NOT defiled their garments; and THEY (speaking of ONLY those Christians who have NOT DEFILED their garments with SIN) shall walk with me in white: for THEY (again ONLY those Christians who are living WITHOUT SIN when they die or when Jesus comes again) are WORTHY:angel:.
NOTE:
BUT when the RIGHTEOUS (or when the true born again Christian) TURNS AWAY from his RIGHTEOUSNESS, and COMMITS INIQUITY, and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, shall he live? All his righteousness that he has done shall NOT be mentioned: IN his TRESPASS that he hath trespassed, and in his SIN that he hath SINNED, IN THEM shall he DIE.
Ezekiel 18:20-32
God says:
"AGAIN, When a RIGHTEOUS man does TURN from his righteousness, and COMMITS INIQUITY, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die: (WHY?) BECAUSE you have NOT given him WARNING, he shall die IN his SIN, and his righteousness which he has done shall NOT be remembered; but his blood will I require at YOUR hand.
21. Nevertheless if you WARN the RIGHTEOUS man, that the righteous SIN NOT, and he does NOT SIN, he shall surely LIVE, BECAUSE he is WARNED; also you have delivered your soul."
Jesus says:
"He that is UNJUST:devil:, let him be unjust :devil:still: and he which is filthy:angeldevil:, let him be filthy:angeldevil: still: and he that is righteous:angel:, let him be righteous :angel:still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
And, behold, I come quickly (in a moment and in a twinkling of and eye, like a flash of lightning. in other words, NO time to REPENT); and my REWARD is with me, to give every man ACCORDING as his WORK shall be.
Revelation 22:11-15
Yes, COME Lord Jesus! :applause:
Living Before God:
13 Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14 as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts:angeldevil:, as in your ignorance; 15 but as He who called you is holy:angel:, you also be holy :angel:in all your conduct, 16 because it is written, Be holy, for I am holy:angel:.
17 And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each ones work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear; 18 knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, 19 but with the precious blood :applause:of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. 20 He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you 21 who through Him (JESUS) believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.
1 Peter 1
Finally then, brethren, we urge and exhort in the Lord Jesus that you should abound more and more, just as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God:angel:; 2 for you know what commandments we gave you through the Lord Jesus.
3 For this is the will of God, your sanctification:angel:: that you should abstain from sexual immorality:devil:; 4 that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, 5 not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God; 6 that no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is the avenger of all such:boxing:, as we also forewarned you and testified.
7 For God did not call us to uncleanness:devil::angeldevil:, but in holiness:angel:. 8 Therefore he who rejects this :angel:does not reject man, but God, who has also given us His Holy Spirit.
I know that you mean the righteousness of Jesus. God imputes us the righteousness of His Son forgiving us our sins and it is our choice to live in righteousness or in our mud pit/vomit of our sins or not.
BUT now look what Jesus says about the righteousness which He commands us to have:
Hebrews 12:14, which says,
"Follow peace with all men, and HOLINESS:angel:, without which NO man shall SEE the Lord:"
Now read chapter 5 of the book of Hebrews, which CLEARLY teaches us that we MUST OBEY the WORDS of Jesus in order to OBTAIN ETERNAL LIFE in the world to COME when Jesus comes again.
"For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for SINS:
2. Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity.
3. And by reason hereof he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins.
4. And no man takes this honor unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.
5. So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, You art my Son, to day have I begotten you.
6. As he says also in another place, You art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
7. Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;
8. Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience BY the things which he suffered;
9. And being made perfect, he became the author of ETERNAL SALVATION unto all them that OBEY him;
10. Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.
11. Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing you are dull of hearing.
12. For when for the time you OUGHT to be teachers, you have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and NOT of STRONG MEAT.
13. For every one that uses milk is unskilful in the word of RIGHTEOUSNESS: for he is a babe.
14. But STRONG MEAT belongs to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil."
Now read what Jesus says in Matthew 24:31-54 which teaches us that in the last days some of the SERVANTS of God will FALL AWAY and go back to living a life of SIN and these EVIL servants shall be CUT asunder or cut off from their inheritance and cast into outer darkness, because they were NOT found to be FAITHFUL when Jesus comes again.
"But as the days of Noah were (where ONLY a few RIGHTEOUS were SAVED and all the disobedient to the gospel were destroyed), so shall ALSO the coming of the Son of man be.
38. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
39. And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
40. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42. WATCH therefore: for you know not what hour your Lord does come.
43. But know this, that if the GOOD man of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he (speaking of the GOOD man, HE) would have WATCHED, and would NOT have suffered his house to be broken up.
44. THEREFORE (or for this REASON) be YOU also READY: for in such an hour as you think not the Son of man comes.
45. WHO then is a FAITHFUL and wise servant, whom his lord has made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46. BLESSED is THAT servant, WHOM his lord when he comes shall find so DOING.
47. Verily (or TRULY) I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
48. BUT and IF that evil servant shall say in his heart, MY LORD delay his coming;
49. And shall begin to smite his FELLOW servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
50. The LORD of THAT servant shall come in a day when he looks NOT for him, and in an hour that he is NOT aware of,
51. And shall cut HIM (that servant who went back into living in SIN Jesus shall cut that disobedient child) ASUNDER, and APPOINT him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
Jesus goes on and continues to teach us about the UNPROFITABLE :angeldevil:servant and his reward of being cast out into outer darkness and then how the FAITHFUL servant who walked in RIGHTEOUSNESS:angel: was welcome into the JOY of the Lord (Matthew chapter 25):
"Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4. But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go you out to meet him.
7. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your OIL; for our lamps are gone out.
9. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go you rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were READY went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
11. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
13. WATCH therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man comes.
14. For the kingdom of heaven is as a man traveling into a far country, who called his OWN servants, and delivered unto them his goods.
15. And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ABILITY; and straightway took his journey.
16. Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.
17. And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.
18. But he that had received one went and dug in the earth, and hid his lord's money.
19. After a long time the LORD of those servants comes, and reckons with them.
20. And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, you delivered unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
21. His lord said unto him, Well done, you GOOD and FAITHFUL servant: you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things: ENTER you into the JOY of your lord.
22. He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, you delivered unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.
23. His lord said unto him, Well done, GOOD and FAITHFUL servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things: ENTER you into the JOY of your lord.
24. Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew you that you are an hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not strawed:
25. And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the earth: lo, there you have that is yours.
26. HIS LORD answered and said unto him, You wicked and slothful servant, you KNEW that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:
27. You ought therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.
28. Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which has ten talents.
29. For unto every one that has shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that has not shall be TAKEN AWAY even that which he has.
30. And cast you the UNPROFITABLE servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
31. When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32. And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats:
33. And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: (WHY? will ONLY these PROFITABLE servants INHERIT the kingdom of God. WHAT did they DO to be called PROFITABLE servants? Please keep reading)
35. For I was hungry, and you gave me meat: I was thirsty, and you gave me drink: I was a stranger, and you took me in:
36. Naked, and you clothed me: I was sick, and you visited me: I was in prison, and you came unto me.
37. Then shall the RIGHTEOUS answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we you hungry, and fed you? Or thirsty, and gave you drink?
38. When saw we you a stranger, and took you in? Or naked, and clothed you?
39. Or when saw we you sick, or in prison, and came unto you?
40. And the King shall answer and say unto THEM (ONLY the RIGHTEOUS), Verily I say unto you, In as much as you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me.
41. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: (WHY? Why are these servants called CURSED or UNRIGHTEOUS servants?)
42. For (or BECAUSE) I was hungry, and YOU gave me NO meat: I was thirsty, and YOU gave me NO drink:
43. I was a stranger, and YOU took me NOT in: naked, and YOU clothed me NOT: sick, and in prison, and YOU visited me NOT.
44. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we you hungry, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did NOT minister unto YOU?
45. Then shall he answer THEM (those that had the very SAME opportunity to DO the SAME GOOD WORKS as the RIGHTEOUS and FAITHFUL servants, but did NOT DO these GOOD WORKS wherein they were CALLED to DO, then to those UNPROFITABLE servants Jesus answered), saying , Verily I say unto you, In as much as you did it NOT to one of the least of these, you did it NOT to me.
46. And THESE shall go away into everlasting punishment: BUT the RIGHTEOUS (the ones who OBEYED their Lord to DO GOOD WORKS of RIGHTEOUSNESS which Ephesians 2:8-10 teaches us that we created in Christ Jesus to DO and were therefore called the RIGHTEOUS, these ONLY who REMAINED RIGHTEOUS went) into LIFE ETERNAL."
Summary:
Now if you are like me attend a church where you are TAUGHT that you are SAVED by GRACE ALONE and NOT of WORKS lest any man should BOAST, and that WORKS we no do after being saved come or are produced from our being SAVED. Therefore, as some go on to TEACH, you do NOT DO WORKS of RIGHTEOUSNESS to EARN or even KEEP your SALVATION.
If you have been TAUGHT this in your church where you attend, then you may struggle with the Holy Scriptures, until you get a TRUE understanding of WHAT being SAVED TRULY means. The problem is our churches do NOT teach today what Jesus teaches us in the Bible! They do NOT teach you all christian doctrines! But WHY? There are many dead churches..That is why!
Jesus warned such churches in Revelation 2.
That is why, knowing that we all are the Church of God we have to OBEY Him and not false doctrines of our churches or pastors who do NOT obey the HOLY words of our God Jesus!
Let us take a CLOSE look at some of the verses that CLEARLY show the CONDITION of DOING GOOD WORKS in ORDER to OBTAIN ETERNAL LIFE in the end:
Jesus tell us:
"If you LOVE me, KEEP my commandments."
John 14:23,24: Jesus goes on to preach and teach to us his GOSPEL.
"Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man LOVE me, he WILL KEEP my WORDS: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
24. He that loves me NOT keeps NOT my sayings: and the word which you hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me."
We PROVE whether or not we TRULY LOVE :hearts:Almighty God the Father and His Son Jesus by not only what we SAY, but even more so by WHAT we DO.
Therefore if you want to OBTAIN eternal life in the world to come, then you MUST PROVE your love:hearts: for God by DOING the WORKS that he CALLED you to DO, and one of these WORKS is to LIVE your lives WITHOUT SIN. Please read 1 Peter 2:21,22 which clearly teaches us that we are CALLED to FOLLOW the STEPS of Jesus who did NO SIN.
"For EVEN HEREUNTO were you CALLED: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an EXAMPLE, that you should FOLLOW his STEPS (and WHAT were the STEPS of Jesus that he left us as an EXAMPLE to FOLLOW? The answer is in the very next verse):
22. Who did NO SIN, neither was guile found in his mouth:"
Remember the WORDS of Jesus in John chapter 14 where plainly taught us that ANY ONE who BELIEVES on Him the WORKS that he DID they shall do ALSO. So then, do YOU BELIEVE on Jesus? If you TRULY BELIEVE and you TRULY LOVE Almighty God the Father and His Son Jesus, then you will FOLLOW the STEPS of Jesus and DO the WORKS that Jesus DID and you WILL LIVE your life WITHOUT SIN:angel:.
That is why by OBEYING Jesus we in fact IMPLEMENT the commands/laws of God to be HOLY as God is HOLY.
REMEMBER words of Jesus:
27." For the Son of man/the SON of GOD shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall REWARD every man ACCORDING to his WORKS."
In Titus 1:16 we read of believers that profess that they know God, but their WORKS say otherwise:
"They PROFESS that they know God; BUT in WORKS they deny him, being abominable, and DISOBEDIENT, and unto every good work reprobate."
Jesus tells us:
"And he that OVERCOMES, and KEEPS my WORKS unto the END, to him (speaking of him that OVERCOMES and KEEPS the WORKS of Jesus) will I give power over the nations".
"and KEEPS my WORKS unto the END"...What does it mean? Jesus speaks about those who DO what Jesus does! They will reign with Jesus during the Millennium Reign on Christ on our planet!
Most of the Scriptures you posted talk about doing something, but the RIGHTEOUSNESS of Yeshua is not of works but of FAITH,and FAITH only.
A person can do all the works they want and still not have the righteousness
of Messiah.
Righteousness can also be said 'To be in right standing with GOD Almighty, which again is of FAITH without works.
Rom 4:1 What then shall we say our father Abraham to have found according to flesh?
Rom 4:2 For if Abraham was justified by works, he has a boast, but not with God.
Rom 4:3 For what does the Scripture say? "And Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him for righteousness." Gen. 15:6
Rom 4:4 Now to one working, the reward is not counted according to grace, but according to debt.
Rom 4:5 But to the one not working, but believing on Him justifying the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
Rom 4:6 Even as also David says of the blessedness of the man to whom God counts righteousness apart from works:
Rom 4:7 "Blessed are those whose lawlessnesses are forgiven, and whose sins are covered;
Rom 4:8 blessed the man to whom the Lord will in no way charge sin." LXX-Psa. 31:1, 2; MT-Psa. 32:1, 2
Rom 4:9 Is this blessedness then on the circumcision, or also on the uncircumcision? For we say the faith "was counted to Abraham for righteousness." Gen. 15:6
Rom 4:10 How then was it counted? Being in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision!
No one here is discounting the necessity of faith.
But a faith that is not accompanied by obedience is an empty, vain, useless "faith".
In the verse that gives the OP its title, we are instructed to follow or pursue the holiness without which no man shall see the Lord. That cannot be something God solely does FOR or TO us. WE are commanded to pursue it.
Obedience from the heart and faith are inseparable. Checking off a list of do's and don't's is, or course, empty. But so is right theology coupled with disobedient living.
I understand what Versavia has posted,yet she seems to believe that a person needs to do works in order to have salvation,when the only thing necessary to being saved is faith in Messiah Yeshua;
After faithing into Yeshua everything afterwards has to do with being sanctified.
The Holy Spirit brings out of a person that which GOD Almighty has placed of Yeshua into me.
Sanctification and Salvation are two different issues; GOD Almighty has already sanctified me in Yeshua,He will also sanctify me in my life over time.
Good works will follow faithing into Messiah, sometimes there are many good works, and sometimes just a few,yet these are also of GOD Almighty.
To say that when a person faiths into Yeshua and does not live a life obediently,GOD Almighty knows how to deal with that.
Heb 12:4 You did not yet resist unto blood, wrestling against sin.
Heb 12:5 And you have forgotten the exhortation which He speaks with you, as with sons, "My sons, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, nor faint while being corrected by Him.
Heb 12:6 For whom the Lord loves, He disciplines, and whips every son whom He receives." Prov. 3:11, 12
Heb 12:7 If you endure discipline, God is dealing with you as with sons; for who is the son whom a father does not discipline?
Heb 12:8 But if you are without discipline, of which all have become sharers, then you are illegitimate, and not sons.
Heb 12:9 Furthermore, indeed we have had fathers of our flesh as correctors, and we respected them. Shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits, and we shall live?
Heb 12:10 For they truly disciplined us for a few days according to the thing seeming good to them; but He for our profit, in order for us to partake of His holiness.
Heb 12:11 And all discipline for the present indeed does not seem to be joyous, but grievous; but afterward it gives back peaceable fruit of righteousness to the ones having been exercised by it.
I do not sweat over others not being completely obedient,or without good works; what concerns me is when people place burdens upon others to try to force a person to obey or to change.
GOD Almighty in His time,He will change a person into the image of Messiah.
Rom_8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
In response to this point, "I do not sweat over others not being completely obedient,or without good works; what concerns me is when people place burdens upon others to try to force a person to obey or to change."
I'll grant that the apostles were concerned with ceremonial burdens being placed on the believers. Galatians has a lot to say about that.
But they were also concerned with obedience. They warned those in the churches to obey. I cannot see that we do any harm by repeating those warnings.

GNWS:
Home, may i show that the diciples / learners of Yeshua were more concerned about people understanding Grace, and faith then they were about them being obedient.
Let us see how many times Obedient, Obedience, and Obey was talked about in the New Covenant within the KJV and the Literal translations.
Obedience:
From the KJV: (12 Times )
Rom_1:5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:
Rom_5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
Rom_6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
Rom_16:19 For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil.
Rom_16:26 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:
1Co_14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.
2Co_7:15 And his inward affection is more abundant toward you, whilst he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him.
2Co_10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
2Co_10:6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
Phm_1:21 Having confidence in thy obedience I wrote unto thee, knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say.
Heb_5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
1Pe_1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
From the Literal:(17 Times )
Gen_49:10 The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the lawmaker from between his feet, until Shiloh come, and the obedience of the peoples to him.
Psa_66:3 Say to God, How much to be feared are Your works! Through the greatness of Your power, Your enemies pretend obedience to You.
Rom_1:5 by whom we received grace and apostleship to obedience of faith among all the nations, for His name's sake,
Rom_5:19 For as through the one man's disobedience the many were constituted sinners, so also through the obedience of the One the many shall be constituted righteous.
Rom_6:16 Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves as slaves for obedience, you are slaves to whom you obey, whether of sin to death, or obedience to righteousness?
Rom_15:18 For I will not dare to speak of anything which Christ did not work out through me for the obedience of the nations in word and work,
Rom_16:19 For your obedience reached to all; therefore, I rejoice over you. But I desire you to be truly wise as to good, but simple toward evil.
Rom_16:26 but now has been made plain, and by prophetic Scriptures, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known for obedience of faith to all the nations;
2Co_7:15 And his tender feelings are abundant toward you, remembering the obedience of all of you, as you received him with fear and trembling.
2Co_10:5 the demolishing of arguments and every high thing lifting up itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought into the obedience of Christ,
2Co_10:6 and having readiness to avenge all disobedience, whenever your obedience is fulfilled.
Phm_1:21 Trusting to your obedience, I wrote to you, knowing that you will do even beyond what I say.
Heb_5:8 though being a Son, He learned obedience from what He suffered
1Pe_1:2 according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit to obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied to you.

I could post the verses for Grace, but we see where the Word of GOD leads to what we are to live by.
When we stress obedience over Grace through faith,we place burdens upon the people, then they start living their lives not in faith but rather by perfomance.
If i obey GOD He will love me more,
GOD will bless me more
GOD will forgive me
GOD will etc.
When the people do not perform well, then what happens, they will only try doing more to try to satisfy their guilty conscience.
Only Grace through Faith will get a person to rest in Yeshuas finished work.
>>When we stress obedience over Grace through faith,we place burdens upon the people, then they start living their lives not in faith but rather by perfomance.
Are God's commandments, then, burdensome? Please consider 1 John 5:3.
