DontHitThatMark View Profile History	SNAKES!!!!! Posted : 12 Sep, 2014 07:36 AM Humans are pretty evil, but thankfully we're still one of God's creatures. I'd say the same for snakes. God must have at least told Noah to put two snakes on the ark. Our environment is perverting and degrading and mutating our genes and DNA, but humans were still created by God. An interesting related point is that mosquitoes(another annoying creature), when they were originally designed, were probably more like butterflies, but because their food sources have degraded and contain fewer nutrients, they've adapted to use more nutrient rich sources, like blood. Snakes may have had a similar adaptation to help them survive the violence and harsh conditions that we face since the flood destroyed God's perfect environment. :peace::peace: Post Reply

I do not see snakes as being evil,they are just one of the creatures GOD Almighty created for His glory. The heart of man is what is EVIL,just look at isis/isil,look at the united sates thinking that they are better then isis /isil. Isis/isil kills people,cuts the heads off people,even babies,and the united states KILLS babies in the womb,Now you have you choose of evil. Now let us look into the Word of GOD Almighty to see what He says about the evil within man. We will need some context first. Gen 6:1 And it came about that men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them. Gen 6:2 The sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were good, and they took wives for themselves from all those whom they chose. Gen 6:3 And Jehovah said, My Spirit shall not always strive with man; in their erring he is flesh. And his days shall be a hundred and twenty years. Gen 6:4 The giants were in the earth in those days, and even afterwards when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore to them; they were heroes which existed from ancient time, the men of name. Gen 6:5 And Jehovah saw that the evil of man was great on the earth, and every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the day long. Gen 6:6 And Jehovah repented that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved to His heart. Gen 6:7 And Jehovah said, I will wipe off man whom I have created from the face of the earth, from man to beast, to the creeping thing and to the birds of the heavens; for I repent that I made them. Gen 6:8 And Noah found grace in the eyes of Jehovah. Jer 17:5 So says Jehovah, Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and who makes flesh his arm, and who turns aside his heart from Jehovah. Jer 17:6 For he shall be like a juniper in the desert, and shall not see when good comes. But he shall live in parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land that is not inhabited. Jer 17:7 Blessed is the man who trusts in Jehovah, and Jehovah is his refuge. Jer 17:8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters. It sends out its roots by the stream, and it will not fear when the heat comes; but its foliage will be green; and it is not anxious in the year of drought, nor will it cease from yielding fruit. Jer 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is incurable; who can know it? Jer 17:10 I, Jehovah, search the heart, I try the reins, even to give to each man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings. Posted : 1 Oct, 2014 07:17 AM Definitely not evil, for we see our Redeemer Jesus comparing Himself to a serpent lifted up by Moses. 14) And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up. 15) That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16) For God so love the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:14-16 This is were the caduceus/ symbol of modern medical got it snake wrap around a cross. For the Old Testament story just read Numbers 21:4-9. Post Reply
