I know this isn't a Bible study but I felt this is important.
Today my spirit was overwhelmed with the need and desire to tell people that the "end is near". I was driving home and on the way I stopped by a pharmacy to pick up some things and told two people that the end was near while at the same time giving them a gospel tract. I have given out tracts before but I have never told anyone with fear and trembling "the end is near". I was always afraid they might think I was crazy. They probably did.
As the Holy Spirit leads I will continue. According to what I have read, heard, spoken to and especially the word of God there is a very good probability that the Great tribulation will begin no later than the middle 2017 and maybe sooner. Which sets the last day in 2020. Jesus said no one knows the day or the hour but we can know the season and the Lord wants us to know the season.
This timing of the Great trib. is according to a Christian brother that I communicated with for over three years. About two years ago this man disappeared and is no where to be found. He said to me once that when time was up I would no longer see his website up. I also believe that he may be one of the two prophets in the book of Revelation(he thought the same thing). I will know for sure during the Great trib.
The "Church" is so apostate that the Lord is allowing us to go through the Great tribulation for a final cleansing and refining. Our preparation from now on should be spiritual not physical. If you store up food it will be stolen. If you keep a gun it will be used on you because you will not be able fight them all off. You won't have enough ammo or guns against the infestation of demonized beings. And if you don't take the mark of the beast you won't be able to buy food so you'll either starve to death or be killed with your own gun. They only way to make it through is by faith.
By walking by the purest form of faith, like the way Jesus walked, the Lord will protect us and provide all that we need to endure to the end even if it means martyrdom.
The vast majority of true Christians will be martyred because we will not love our lives even unto to death. Those who loves their lives trying to save it will lose it.
"And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death. Rev 12:11
Note: this may or may not mean anything and maybe I'm just reading something that is really nothing. In March of this year we had the Juno music awards. I decided to watch for a short while which I usually don't. The host, out of the blue, made an out of place remark to the effect "welcome to the last Juno EVER." He was trying to be funny but no body laughed. It was a very awkward moment.
It's all over brothers and sisters. I hope and pray that those who have ears to hear can hear.

*** Time as we know it is running out�Obviously by the current Signs and Events happening�all the more reason to be Preaching the Gospel and handing out Tracks�

*** Paul is quoting in 2 Cor 6 in vs 2 below a Person as saying� �now is the day of salvation��meaning�Today!!! What better Day than Today??? And as you read on it speaks of what we go through doing what we are called to do�

6 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

*** It doesn�t matter what others �think� of us �Christians��What matters is that we do what the LORD Jesus has asked us to do which is Sharing and "Preaching the Gospel."
*** It really doesn�t do much good to tell someone �the end is near� when they don�t even have a Clue as to what end one is speaking of. Giving out Gospel Tracks is a Really Good thing. I just Pray they Read it because most folks just toss them unless you take the time to explain to them what it is and why you are giving it because it is their Soul that will be Lost for All Eternity in Outer Darkness and Hell Fire being Separated from GOD with no Hope of Salvation because they have Not Repented of their Sins and Accepted the LORD Jesus as their LORD and Saviour and Believed the Gospel!!!

*** A Christian Brother that claims to �think� he is one of the 2 �prophets� ? Sounds to me like your taking about Tony or one such as him. Yall reading this know the one that Preaches another Gospel while attacking people here which gets him banned ??? You sound just like one of the sheeple believing they will not be here when the tribulation starts.You and a lot of other people better start reading that book all over again.Your reasoning about the so called church sounds very much like calvary chapel, After chapter 3 of revlation there is no mention of the church,so we are out of here. The greek word 'tereo' is used 2 times in this verse of scripture,very interesting how the translators translated this greek word to 'keep' ,.when the better tanslation would be to Guard, to or to keep ones eye upon,or to take care of '.

You and I and every other born again Christian have a better chance of being hit by lighting three times a day, every day, for the rest of our lives, than we have of being raptured BEFORE the Great tribulation. I know all the verses to prove it that cannot be refuted.
The man I was speaking about is not this "Tony". There are two prophets who will prophecy during the Great trib. If we are in the very last days then these two prophets have to be on the earth today. Some Christians would have to have been in contact with them. It would be illogical to think otherwise.
When you tell people "the end is near" they absolutely know what we mean even if they don't believe the gospel. The "end of the world" is all over TV and movies which are being used as a tool of deception on unsuspecting people and Christians.
In my researching prophecy almost daily for over 30 years,I would conquer with much of what you said. But it must be realized here that this final purification is not only to a Godly nature and character, but it is to also a greatest height of comprehending truth, both doctrinally, and prophetically. if we note Rev. 14: 1-5, we see that the beginning crest of the latter rain and outpouring of God once again now at this time, is so well projected in these final forerunners lives, to see that they will not any longer have any guile/deceptions in their life. Surely they will be having the ultimate "truth setting one free" greatest redemptive experiences, from the curses of mankind, and so much they will be so exactly following the Lamb (Christ's truths and leading), that wherever He goes in spirit and in truth, they will go...Hence a lot of our preparation will require knowing great truths, and not following great lies and mere fables, so often today even often mixed with truths.
Newfreedom...thank you for your comments also...You believe you have met an end time prophet which is quite interesting...However it still isn't Biblical. Its just Not Found in the Scriptures that Anyone would "Meet" one or both. Folks will "See" them (the Two Prophets) when they are here...and they will be killed and lay in the street until they rise as it is written in the Scriptures...
I would be Greatly Appeciative as well as others here if you and/or George would start a New Thread about "Pre-Trib..Mid-Trib..Post-Trib...and share Why you believe in the Trib you do as you have shared you have Scriptures that can not be Refuted...As I've found it is always Good to share what one has learned and is learning towards in belief with the folks here so all may research for them selves what is being put fourth as fact or truth.
