i believe in a literal 6-day creation, i also believe that God set aside a day for us to worship Him at creation and that is where we get the seven day week from.
What day of creation did God make Holy?
I like how the NLT puts it Genesis 2:2-3
On the seventh day God had finished his work of creation, so he rested from all his work. And God blessed the seventh day and declared it holy, because it was the day when he rested from all his work of creation.

Hebrews 8:13 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
John 1

So Jesus was with God in the begining, Jesus created all things and without Jesus not one thing came into being, God sen John to testify to the coming of Jesus, Jesus came to what was his own, and his own people did not accept him, But to all who received him, who believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God, Jesus became flesh and lived among us.
Mark 2:27-28
"Then Jesus said to them, �The sabbath was made for humankind, and not humankind for the sabbath; So the Son of Man is Lord, even over the Sabbath!�
The Sabbath was made for all people for all time not just for a specific race.
Isaiah 66:22-23
�For as the new heavens and the new earth Which I will make shall remain before Me,� says the Lord, �So shall your descendants and your name remain. And it shall come to pass
That from one New Moon to another, And from one Sabbath to another, All flesh shall come to worship before Me,� says the Lord.
Jesus kept the Sabbath, when Jesus was talking about the destruction of Jerusalem in Matthew 24 verse 20 says
And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath.
because Jesus still expected people to be keeping the Sabbath
the Bible is clear tha the apostles were keeping the Sabbath
Paul kept the Sabbath
Paul also said in Acts 20:29-31
For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves. Therefore watch, and remember that for three years I did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears.
"One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind. He who observes the day, observes it to the Lord; and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it." Romans 14
Let us move on from contentious issues, for they are not profitable.
Is the issue of worship really a contentious issue i dont think it is, I think the issue of worship and who we worship is really important when it has to do with our eternal salvation
It is very important to remember, Sunday worship is not commanded in the Bible, and Sunday has not replaced Saturday and become the Christian Sabbath. The bible nowhere states that Sunday has replaced Saturday as the Sabbath.
A time is coming when it will be illegal to worship on Saturday the Sabbath and it will be punishable by death
Revelation 13
Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. the BIG question here is who are you going to worship, there is only two sides are you going to worship God or the dragon and the beast?

You never said anything about whether or not to worship, but which was the appropriate day. Do not put words into my mouth. No one is suggesting it is inappropriate to worship. But know this, there is a very clear command to not debate which day of the week to worship, and you ignore God's warning at your own peril.

But know this, there is a time coming when which is the appropriate day to worship will matter a great deal.

Revelation 13:3-4

So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, �Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?�
Revelation 13:12-14

And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived.
Revelation 13:15
He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.
Revelation is very clear that the issue will be about who we worship and on what day
Heres a question for you if a law was passed saying you to worship the image of the beast on a sunday, and you keep going to church on a sunday how would you know you are not being deceived to thinking you are still worshiping God when you are not.
Revelation 14:9-10
Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, �If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation.
Revelation 14:12
Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
I will continue to worship God every day since I am a living sacrifice. On Sundays, I will meet together with my church and celebrate the resurrection just like the first century church did. I love the Lord's Day.
The truth is, you are disobeying God's direct command in Romans 14, not simply advising about the future. You are trying to put people back under the law, to make them feel guilty about not having their sabbath, on the Sabbath. For now, the command is don't badger people about the day of worship, yet, you insist on beating this horse that is dead. The Lord rebuke you. Live today under the command for today.
The GOD'S LAW is eternal and it has always exsited and will never change, people who say the ten commandments were done away with are saying GOD's LAW was done away with.
The ten comandments are the only part of the bible God wrote himself when he gave moses the stone tablets inscribed with the ten commandments which is God's law written by God himself
The Law of moses is what we are no longer under and the bible says that the law of moses was nailed to the cross, (the ten commandments were never part of the law of moses), and thats what the bible is saying in Colossians 2, the handwriting of requirements is the law of moses written by moses which had to do with sacrifices, festivals, special sabbaths, (wihich has nothing to do with The Sabbath), thoes things were done away with at the cross.
Jesus said if you love me keep my commandments, did Jesus need to say if love me keep my ten commandments, no because people knew what he was talking about.
when the dragon raises the beast and the image of the beast to full power if people dont know the truth and have a close relationship with God a lot of people will be deceived who is the dragon

GOD'S LAW required animal sacrifice. GOD'S LAW is eternal. Why aren't YOU conducting animal sacrifice? Why are you wearing mixing fabrics and consuming milk product when you eat meat? GOD'S LAW requires that nobody eats pork. PETER, RISE AND EAT!!! GOD'S LAW is eternal. Do you eat pork? Are you going to say one thing changed and nothing else changed? Do you trim your beard? Do you have God's word written over your door?

No worship on the Lord's day is to be refused if it is done with thanksgiving and sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

Why are YOU trying to force gentiles to live under the law? We worship God every day. We don't save it up for the Sabbath.
"This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it."
GOD's LAW is the ten commandments, the ten commandments has nothing to do with animal sacrifices, the law of moses required animal sacrifice and observing festivals and was a shadow of things to come, which Christ forfilled in His life, death and resurrection.
the first four of the ten commandments are about our relationship with God and the last 6 are about our relationship with our fellow man, it has nothing to do with animal sacrifice.

i suppose you also believe the trinity and in God the Holy Spirit as a seperate being of the God head well God the Holy Spirit as a seperate being doesn't exist the Holy Spirit is the spirit of God & Christ it is not a seperate being, only God and Jesus are to be exalted.
God is the father of Christ; Christ is the Son of God. To Christ has been given an exalted position . He has been made equal with the Father. All the counsels of God are open to His Son.
