People like to legalize everything now days.

Legalize drugs.

Legalize infanticide.

Legalized murder of an unborn child.

Legalized "THE PILL".

Legalize euthanasia.

I guess divorce was the grandmother of them all.

Adultery was unlawful in the Bible. But it's okay as long as you first get a divorce, people thought until Jesus comes along and calls marriage after divorce adultery. Jesus associates divorce with adultery. But the church still likes to think it's okay. We are far from Jesus in our thoughts. Jesus says that anyone who marries a divorced woman commits adultery. (Luke 16:18) And Jesus says that a woman who divorces her husband and marries another man commits adultery. (Mark 10:12) Jesus says that a man who divorces a wife that was faithful causes her to commit adultery upon her going to someone else. (Matthew 5:32) Then a man is not to have her back after she has married someone else. (Deuteronomy 24:1-4)

People don't even want to think it sin to divorce. They don't want to think marriage after divorce is a sin either. But that is not what the Bible teaches. So, stay together if you want to follow the Bible and what Jesus says. Yet who really follows the scriptures?

Jesus says that if we love him, we will obey what he commands. (John 14:15)

Jesus says, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching." (John 14:23)

And that "Anyone that does not love me will not obey my teachings." (John 14:24)

That said, HOW MANY OF US LOVE JESUS? when we don't even follow what he says?
