And to you from Australia (the pretenders ;-))! Welcome to the forums, GoranSinger!

What's it like as a Christian in Macedonia? Do you open up to each other easily when times get tough? Are Christians generally approved of? Is it difficult to talk about Jesus? Do strawberries grow everywhere in the summer? (No pressure, answer what you want.)

Thanks :)

Macedonia is Orthodox country, and is rally hard to talk with young people about Jesus.I have a band, and all members are from different protestant-churches in Macedonia. And our vision is,through our songs, which are like with some secret message from the bible,to reach young people and share the gospel. Its not easy, because here are not that kind of bands and music, but we believe that God will use us and our talents for him :)

I hope I made it clear, because English is not my first language, and I don't use it very often. And how is in Australia?

God bless you brother.

Greetings from the USA.

Dont worry about your English, GoranSinger. Even in English speaking countries, we barely speak proper English. For example, in Australia they call women "Sheilas" and the cure for everything is a combination of Vegemite and "throwing another shrimp on teh Bar-be".

Im from the US and I speak "Redneck" or "Hillbilly".

Welcome to CDFF.

'Strewth, mate! Coulda been that seppo bloke spent the wet beyond the black stump 'imself. But don' ferget, even the galahs feed chicken soup to their sickies, stops 'em whingein'.

Man, your English smashes my Macedonian. It's more than enough for me :-). Things are different in Australia, we're a little more open, and we've a bit of a mish-mash of faiths. It's quite easy to talk about Jesus with strangers even, sometimes because of indifference, sometimes acceptance. The general attitude feels like religion is something "on the side" rather than something to consider and live by, and that everything will work out one way or another.

It's a challenge to witness here, just like anywhere on this side of Jesus' return :D.
