Admin	My Testimony Posted : 30 Oct, 2013 06:19 PM I was saved at five years old, but I had a very hard life. I grew up without a father, my mother suffers from schizophrenia, and I lost two brothers to suicide. After my brother Alex took his life, I began to drink alcohol. After my brother Tim took his life, I started to smoke pot. I stopped going to high school and I almost took my life. I remember when I was in the attic with the rope around my neck and I cried to Jesus and peace came on me. It was the most amazing peace that I ever felt. I started crying my eyes out and I opened up the bible and I began to read. I found out that day that the devil attacked my life and I almost let the devil win. God does not want me to be sad. The devil does. The Lord gives me strength every day. I have been sober for two years. I have been off medication for two years. I�m now in college and made it on the dean�s list. I promised God to tell everyone what he done for me because he saved my life. I love Him so much. No matter what, don�t give up. One day we will be in heaven. No more pain. No more suffering. I want everyone to know, if you are going through a lot, cry to Jesus. He will help. Don�t let this world trouble you. Please. God is great. What was the difference, when I was depressed? I was not reading my bible and I was not praying to God. I let the world trouble me. I let the worlds LIES get me depressed. Open your bibles and read daily and pray to God daily! Because He loves you and tell your friends and tell people on the internet what God has done for you, so that they might be saved or start relying on Jesus for their strength and no their own. I have found reaching out and helping others can be a comfort and a strength when going through difficult times of depression and also just getting through the hard times. Sounds like you have a lot of experience that could be helpful to others and at the same time be a source of healing for you. Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted and to give healing and life to the hurting. God Bless You. Post Reply
