I'll start with one of my poems I wrote that was inspired by the prayer of my senior pastor this fall. It's titled "Seasons Collide": The rain falls down in gathered puddles Beneath my feet, washing away stains Of all my mistakes and breaking pains And memories of long, soft cuddles The wind howls at my face as I break Tears fly behind me in anguish now Leaving me questions of why and how But now I've put far too much at stake I stand in the ocean, in waist deep As the wave knocks me down, I just drown In purity that washes me clean I fall hard and fast in peaceful sleep The sun beats on my dry, sandy feet My hands touch the ground in hope for rain So that I could gain some direction All these years, I still seek affection The snowflake flutters onto my nose Piles of them, above the road they rose Even past my cold, prostrate body I wish for time to be frozen, stop The leaves whirlpool around my stature All the brown, gold, red, and orange consume My thoughts, they spin in constant sequence Past all the concepts of consequence I love to be captive in His arms His love, His kindness, it captures me His nature so raw, it sweeps me up And puts me face down in reverence By: Joshua Murphy Now let me hear yours.... View Profile History	Let's share poetry Posted : 7 Feb, 2009 11:18 AM hey I just wrote something just now tell me what you think In Jesus everything IS Possible I feel so broken and jaded so torn from my inner part of my heart but inside I will heal I know I've been crushed I know I've been torn apart but when my tears flow gently it makes me feel good on the inside you got me thinking ways I never knew I could i just look myself in the mirror and I think man wow how can anyone turn this face down all I ever needed was in jesus all I ever needed was his love his embrace, his touch not even realizing that the devil can not touch me because I'm saved by Jesus's love and grace In Jesus we are better than the devil In Jesus we can stomp all over the devil IN jesus we are set free from pain, brokenness, hunger and most of all of our sins Post Reply

In an on going parady till the color of the rose water is seen on the dust makeing the dust that had been breathed into beauty. Thus the Father can use the dust like red ink writing anew story. Of how the rose that had been broken and lives again. By bringing breath back into the dust that formed into life these dry bones live again Elijah. The roses blood is are blood making us children of the "King" and we as children are nolonger scarlet yet blood bought. Do you like? You had sparked a dream of mine. About people dressed with rose prints on their cloths arrayed as a mighty army. Post Reply

And what ever you facing will seem much less When you go to God and confide and confess, For the burden that seems too heavy to bear God lifts away on the wings of prayer And seen through God's eyes earthly troubles will diminish And we're given new strength to face and to finish Life's daily tasks as they come along If we pray for strength to keep us strong... so go to our father when troubles assail you, for his grace is sufficient and he'll never fail you Post Reply

It come alive through their own heart. Thus they feel the emotion from the heart. In an over welming sensation. Through the thought world of the artists geniouse compensations. Of their lifes rhyme. "Yes Here I am lord." I grasp at my heart in darkness. Theirs light Yah has saw every side of me. He knows the very artist of my poetic being. Post Reply

Thank you everyone for sharing. Here's another poem of mine that I wrote recently. View Profile History	Let's share poetry Posted : 14 Mar, 2009 08:12 PM YAY a poetry Fourm so i has to Tear this board up I hope you ENjoy Psalm 9 this is more of a song im working on i hope you like Verse 1 Lost and Alone I did not know what to do Tears poured out as my knees hit the ground and remembered what you taught and how you changed my life what you told me echos in my head no matter what life throws at me Chorus I will praise you Lord With all of my heart All of my dreams all of my everything I will speak of all the marvelous things you have done for me I will praise you Lord I will Praise you Verse 2 As my Tears Dried and all my thoughts has slowed what you did for me what you said to me I love you so much I gave my life for you So no matter What Chorus Verse 3 If your lost and confused and dont know who to turn to or dont know what to do In any situation call on him hes always there for you SO Love Him Praise Him Long for his word And.... Not knowing one's love. Even if near yet. So far to grasp. Here I took your tears. And placed them in the air. Now tears you are red butterflys floating. To bring graceful happyness. No longer sorrows to this person I hold dear. Remeber let your heart beat. Against the darkness. Then you will find the person who matters most. laughter comes sorrows are many. Yet your portion is to be with the one God gave you to. Destiny will float to you like crimson beads. On a bloods moon night. Making smiles never fading under the pale star light. While I play a glass violin sweetly. Ever so soft sing for me only you can finish. Your lifes story hum to me the tune. I need to know it in order to remeber about you. I.wish.to.know.you. It was rainy my friend told me a joke. I fell over my body made waves. When the water splattered. I made my own ocean sway through pure fun. I even danced in the mud. Grabbing my hurting stomach so hard. He made me cry laugh with pain. All less in one day. These are the joys of child hood friends play even in muddy pants. Post Reply
