Admin	Question... When it comes to TV Shows or Ratings as PG13 Movies, How far is to far? Posted : 14 Sep, 2010 05:40 PM I am interested to know how you all feel on how easy society has become (Christians Included) on what we watch on TV and think of as entertainment; and when going out to the movies ... What about the "Rating System." PG and PG13... Do you find that PG13 should really be rated R and PG is almost as close to PG13? Just a lot of the "regular" prime time shows have profanity that has to be weeded out. It's getting pretty bad. Even worse after 10:00.:excited: The late night talk shows can get pretty ugly,half of what they say is muted out so I just quit watching them, except on Monday nights when Jay Leno (when it's not a rerun) does "Headlines" or when they have the animals on. I rarely go to movies, but can't tell a whole lot of difference between the PG13 and what the R rated ones use to be when I do go. Too bad because I'm a big fan of the action flicks. Wish they would bring back Dirty Harry! Post Reply

We have a TV station here in town that runs old movies on Sat nights. They clean them up pretty good, but sometimes they end up cutting out too much. (The first time I heard Clint say," go ahead "dude",make my day!" I thought I was gonna bust a gut!:laugh:) I have an old magnavox with the TVG on it that does a pretty good job too. I discovered the TVG by accident one day when I was watching some movie on AMC and it kept muting words. I thought I was going deaf or there was something wrong with my TV (I bought it used and it didn't come with a manual) I started flipping thru the menu and saw the TVG was activated. Post Reply
