ChildrenPosted : 5 Sep, 2010 02:23 PMI've noticed on a couple of younger guys profiles, ages 18-30, set their preference of children on "undecided/open" or even on "doesn't want children". Do many of you not want to have children? And if yes, why not? |

ChildrenPosted : 5 Sep, 2010 04:40 PMPersonally, I am not in a rush to have children. I would like to have a couple at some point, but having them too soon would be a terrible idea. I haven't met a woman I'd seriously consider getting married to, so kids have to be quite a ways off. |

I'm also distinctly aware of the generation gap that ensues when you have children. You immediately become the uncool parent. I also don't make enough to have children and I doubt I ever will. Also, children would halt any progress on music and other artistic endeavors that I think I'm supposed to do. |
