I get on my knees I get on my knees! There i am before the love That changes me See i don't how But there's pow'r When i'm on my knees. I can be in a crowd Or by myself and almost anywhere When i feel there's a need To talk with God He is Emmanuel! When i close my eyes, no darkness there There's only lights! Wickedness seems to prevail in our world.God urges us to live our lives in faith,taking to heart His assurance to Habakkuk that there will be a day of reckoning for the wicked. The only way to please God now and to be ready for the day of reckoning is to live by faith. Lord,grant us grace throughout this day To walk the straight and narrow way, To do whatever in Thy sight Is good and perfect,just and right. *The many task we face each day Can burden and oppress, But spending time with God each day Can bring relief from stress.:glow: Post Reply

This is a good practical example of (1Th. 5:17) "Pray without ceasing." because we are to pray to God not only when we have need of intercession or help but to praise God and thank Him when things are going well.
