Houston, TXPosted : 11 Sep, 2007 03:06 PMI remember when I was in my teens, seeing a couple in church -- very in love, obviously -- and about 50 years of age (I think), and saying and hearing from my friends in church, "what about that? When you are that old, what is there for them to do, and so on..." Now that I am considerably over fifty, I can only say, if I only had known... anyone else have that experience? We youngsters thought that we had a corner on romance and relationships. |

Unfortunately, I have some friends whose marriages aren't all that great. So, it is important to have someone you can continue to communicate with as you age with them, and to "keep the fires burning". This is possible if you keep Jesus first in your life! |
