Searching by YOUR Questions

This is a great site, but there are always backseat drivers who wish for certain improvements, especially in searching.

Some people do not fall into a denomination, or at least a large one, and others claim a denomination but that denomination is split on issues.

So questions could be used to narrow it down, as long as more answers could be provided if the current answers do not cover all beliefs, and maybe a definition.

Hypothetically, if still on a Christian dating website, what would be your deal-breaker question? What would be your preferred answer? What are some other choices besides yours so we know the uniqueness of yours?

I think this is the purpose of the ancient art of the....oh no...what did they used to call it....shucks...oh that's it....The Conversation.

In this ancient practice, two people of moderate or even no connection would exchange words in the hopes of gaining some meaning from another entity. In some cases this leads to fighting and for others to intimacy and friendship.

However, for most of us, the important question boils down to the stance on salvation. Christians believe that salvation is offered by God's grace and received by faith; and of this faith, it is a gift of God not merited by anything on the part of the recipient (ie works). For many of us, the reliance on the inerrancy of the Scriptures is an important topic, a deal breaker for some and not for others.

Past those two, nothing immediately comes to mind that should instantly invalidate a person as a dating partner; after all, if (Lord willing) two people date, they'll have to depend on God's grace to see them through moments where their flesh wants to sin or leave.

Well, maybe we should be asked to describe our beliefs on key issues in addition to describing who we are and what we are looking for.
