How to know if you are being gaslit by someone.



•They make you the butt of jokes and tell you to stop being so sensitive.



•They make rude comments, followed by compliments.



•They lie and deny your version of reality.



•They make you feel like you're "crazy" or "dramatic."



•Their actions really match their words.



•They dismiss your feelings and tell you you're wrong.

I briefly dated a man whose words and actions didn't align. I also caught him in several lies after three months I decided to call it quits...:-)

Thanks for sharing Gaslighting. I seldom share my mind in forums until I saw your post. Gaslighting is a form of emotional abuse that’s seen in abusive relationships. I used to live like that, to the point that I don't know how to trust myself and make a decision. When I became aware of my problem, I decided to change the way I think. I have spent a lot of time to go to church, read many books and meet positive people. I often pray with God and talk with myself. I knew my best friend is God and myself. I overpassed it for a long time. I am confident, happy, beautiful more.

Some Vietnamese men have a habit of doing it. Maybe you're speaking from first-hand experience
