It’s that time again and I was just cheering on Jamaica 🇯🇲 As they came 1st 2nd & 3rd in the women’s 100 metres breaking the Olympic record…:-)

Congratulations to them!

Today I got up at 5.15am to see the 400m hurdles finals for men. Norways Karsten Warholm won the gold medal and smashed a long-lived world record for the second time this summer. It might very well become a national holiday, since olympic gold medals in running-sports hasn't been very common in Norway (only other one came 25 years ago on 800m)

I would have loved to record the sports and watch it the next day, but I work so much I can't keep up before the results reach me anyways. I will try to watch the most important stuff (sometimes in the middle of the night) and leave other things to be unseen.

Yeah I know what you mean. I try to avoid any spoilers by not looking at social media, until I’ve watched the event…:-)

Greatful and amazed by two new gold medals to my countrymen. First the beach volleyball men, then Jakob Ingebrigtsen on the 1500m athletics. Wow! Congratulations!
