dear folks, id like to speak to ya a little about sowin your seeds tonight..

matthew 13:3-9 3 Then He spoke many things to them in parables, saying: "Behold, a sower went out to sow. 4 And as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds came and devoured them. 5 Some fell on stony places, where they did not have much earth; and they immediately sprang up because they had no depth of earth. 6 But when the sun was up they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered away. 7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked them. 8 But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. 9 He who has ears to hear, let him hear!"

i dont know if any of yawl have ever went out and sowed any seed in your time.. so ill try to give you a little explaination as to what alls involved..

you usually dont just go out and sow seed on top of the ground without havin prepared the soil to be receptive and givin it a thriving environment... and you might ask yourself well now ole cattle just how do ya do that.... you turn the soil and turn the sod and weeds under.. then you disk the ground to brake up the clods and make the dirt fine and soft.. you may even drag the field as to level the stump holes and all... then you clean the rock out of it. as much as you can.. seed wont grow on a rock.. and its very rough on your equipment as well.. now you need to lime and fertilize the land to give the soil what it needs to grow and have the best crop possible.. then you go to the most reputable seed dealer and pick a seed thats what you seek for the best price you can get.. but do get good seed. dont buy cheap seed as youll prolly be plantin far less superior seed and with it less chance to grow.. then you plant your seed the depth required and then you love it and nurture it and add a little water if possible if no rains come...keep the weeds out.. what you need to remember is when you are preparing that land to take your seed... youre putting in hard work ,sweat ,tears sometimes, blisters, achin muscles, and always you are praparing your soil with love..

now lets see how those verses compare to say planting the seeds that JESUS was speaking of.. if we compare preparing soil to preparing souls , well first off the HOLY SPIRIT will be helping to make the soul receptive to the seeds or the words youre gonna be planting, and will also be helping you to know which seeds or words to plant..

but how do you really prepare that soil.. you come at it gentle, with loving kindness.. patience, with knowlege but not know it all.. you must come to that soil with as much mercy and grace as was given to you..

for soil to be receptive to the seeds youre gonna be planting does take lots of love .. therefore one cant be harsh with our words in order for the seed to really be given a chance to produce ...

when you becopme harsh it makes the soil very defencive.. and not at all receptive to the seeds youre tryin to plant... now it dont hurt at all to say hey youre a sinner.. just dont say it like you are way so much better than them... and remember who youre speakin to.. never talk above them... use words they will understand.. cause theyre prolly not gonna take time to look em up to see what they mean... so nurture that soil and tend it with love and patience and kindness.. instead of goin in with no plan and just rippin it up and makin a mess of the soil.. so as the verses above states that not all seed is gonna take root and grow and prosper.. lets just make sure that its because they didnt have good soil and not the fact that we actually made the plants wilt because we didnt tend to them and nurture them before and as we planted them and even after we have planted em... lets take time to prepare the soil for our seeds and not let anger get the best of us.. or impatience... if we all do our jobs right then the rest is up to those recieving the seeds...

and i pray we all have much success planting our seeds..

in JESUS name i ask this..

may GLORY BE TO GOD!!!!!!
