What Do You Call Sin?

More importantly.... do you know what God calls sin?
1. All unrighteousness is sin. ( 1 John 5:17 NASB)
2. All sin is considered equal through God's eyes, not man's.
( James 2:10-11 NASB)
3. If you say you don't sin, you are deceiving yourself.
( 1John 1:8 NASB)
The "spotlight" sins are quite obvious- murder, theft, fornication, adultery, physical abuse, etc. Call these common sins that most Christians know about and accept as sin.
Well, how about the other sins? You know, the ones that many Christians like to justify, weigh less, and think not of as sin.... such as gossip, slander, ignorant/foolish speculations, unrighteous judgement/anger, or false idols.
What do you know as sin?
Is this truth incorporated into your own walk of faith? If so, how?
Or, do you use this knowledge/revelation to only point out the log in your brother's eye?
