Pastor Mark Driscoll claims Jesus made mistakes
Posted : 22 Sep, 2018 04:31 PM

Can you site where Mark Driscoll made this claim? I would really like to know. I have issues with his cussing when explaining things and then also being to vulgar/graphic when talking about sex.

Reduced to a Body: Red flag #3!
Posted : 10 Jun, 2017 05:27 PM

I will tell the Christian woman, most men in the church aren't going to find you physically attractive. You would be fortunate if 1 out of 10 men would find you attractive. For most, it would be between 1 out of 30 and 1 out of 50. So, you shouldn't expect the vast majority of men to seek to get to know you.

Looks get you in the door, and after that, as he gets to know you, your interests (if you have some in common with a man), spiritual qualities and past lifestyle will keep you on the inside.

It really is common sense, but for whatever reason, most parents don't educate their daughters to know these simple facts about men.

And you should not want a man who doesn't find your body attractive. Do you know why? Because then he would have to fantasize about another woman's body just to get aroused to have sex with you in marriage. That is a waste of the man's time and yours, and just setting your marriage up for adultery, so be "thankful" when a man is honest with you and tells you there is no physical attraction, so he has no interest. If you fight against this as a woman, you are asking for a bad marriage that will end, in most cases, which means you are asking for failure before it starts. Use common sense, please. Stop being so desperate, as so Christian women appear to be. Instead, get in shape, stay in shape, exercise regularly, get into sports, if you have athleticism, and start reading godly books on marriage and men so that you learn what a truly godly marriage is all about. A great book to start your future reading list with is: His Needs, Her Needs, by Williard Harley, Jr. This was a top 20 Christian book for over 20 years and still is one of my favorite.

Not worth it. Most aren't Christian on there, either, just like here. You get the same type of people there as here. I have tired the free trials for years and saw the same thing over and over. Same goes for all the "Christian" websites, which makes sense, since only about 10% of America are truly Christian, so most live a worldly lifestyle, which makes them an automatic "no-go" for me. I have asked women on all the main Christian websites and some chat sites, too, how many Christian books they have read on marriage to show that they are serious about a Christian marriage, and the typical answer is 0 or 1. Once in a blue moon I got a 2. These are all way too few to show you are serious about a Christian marriage, and most likely aren't a Christian at all. So I have decided to stick to the free sites, because there really is no difference at all, but the numbers....but same type of women on both. Many on here are also on Christiancafe or Eharmony.

CALLING ALL VIRGINS...women and men!!!
Posted : 10 Jun, 2017 09:10 AM

Yes, and yes. I have not waited and lived a disciplined lifestyle to settle for someone who has chosen the selfish path of life for so many years, and now thinks anyone and everyone should accept them. God's ideal is both be virgins (Hebrews 13:4), so I believe if at all possible, it should be done. I like at marriage as a bonus, for God would like all to be like Paul, single, if possible (1 Cor 7), so that you may serve Him better...but that means you should be studying God's Word much more and reading Christian books more and sharing that information with others to help them grow, especially those who are married and don't have the time to do all these things as we singles have the time to do. The sad thing is that most Christians just live selfish lifestyles as singles and don't prepare for a Christian marriage, and then wonder why Christian men and women don't want them. A recent study done by George Barna Research Group shows that only about 10% of Americans are truly Christian. So, that means about 70% of all those claiming to be Christian are not. Read his article to see if you are...

Verses that changed your life

Be able to answer everyone: 1 Pet 3:15 But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect; Col 4:6; Titus 1:9; Rom 1:16; 2 Tim 2:15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. 2 Tim 2: 24-25 And the Lord's servant must not quarrel; instead, he must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. 25Those who oppose him he must gently instruct, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth; 2 Tim 4:1-2; Acts 14:3; 17:2-3; 20:30-31; Mk 8:38: If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Fathers glory with the holy angels.1 Tim 4:16: Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.;

We are sinful, evil people, by nature- Gen 6:5, The LORD saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. Gen 6:11-13; 8:21; Matt 12:33-37; 1 Cor 2:14; Gal 3:22-23; 4:8; 5:16-21; Rom 1:18-32; Prov 3:5-7; 21:15; 25:19; 26:12; 28:5; 29:6-11; Eph 2:1-3: As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air (SATAN), the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient (non-believers). 3All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath.

No one seeks God on their own- Rom 1:21-32; 3:10-18: As it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one; 11there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. 12All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one."; Psalm 36:1-4; John 15:16; 5:40; Matt 23:37; Rom 9:16; Prov 1:24-27; John 1:10-13; 3:20; 5:40; 8;43;15:5;1 Cor 2:14

God Does Everything for His Own Pleasure/Bring glory to Himself: Ez 36:22-37; Pr 16:4The LORD works out everything for his own endseven the wicked for a day of disaster. ,9In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps ;19:21; Rev 4:11; Phil 2:13; Ps 66:9;115:3;135:6; Isa 14:27;46:10; Eph 1:5,11In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, 3:11;1Cor 8:6; Acts 4:28;17:28; Mt 20:15; Rom 11:34-36; Dan 4:35; Jn 1:13; Heb 13:20-21; Everything depends on Gods mercy- Rom 9:14-18What then shall we say? Is God unjust? Not at all! 15For he says to Moses, "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion." 16It does not, therefore, depend on man's desire or effort, but on God's mercy. 17For the Scripture says to Pharaoh: "I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth." 18Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden.; 10:20 And Isaiah boldly says, I was found by those who did not seek me; I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me.

God is in Control of World(Sovereign)--Sanctification: Phil 1:3-6 I thank my God every time I remember you. 4In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy 5because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, 6being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.; 2:13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.;4:19; Math 10:29; Rom 3:26;13:1; 8:26-30; 9: 6,20-23 But who are you, O man, to talk back to God? "Shall what is formed say to him who formed it, 'Why did you make me like this?' Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for noble purposes and some for common use? What if God, choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrathprepared for destruction? 23What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory;11:36 For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.;15:16; Eph 1:11 In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will;2:4-5,10; 3:20; 1 Cor 1:8-9 He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.

Mans days are numbered: Job 14:15 Man's days are determined; you have decreed the number of his months and have set limits he cannot exceed. Ps 139:16 your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

Christians are to correct / judge each other- John 7:24 Stop judging by mere appearances, and make a right judgment ; Jam 5:19-20 My brothers, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring him back, 20remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save him from death and cover over a multitude of sins. ; Matt 7:1-5; 18:15-20; 1Cor 5; Gal 6:1; John 7:24(Jesus speaking) Stop judging by mere appearances, and make a right judgment." 1 Cor 2:14-15 The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man's judgment: 1 Cor; 6:5 I say this to shame you. Is it possible that there is nobody among you wise enough to judge a dispute between believers? 10:15 I speak to sensible people; judge for yourselves what I say; 11:31 But if we judged ourselves, we would not come under judgment. Col 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.;

Acts 17:11 Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true; Deut 13:12-15; Rom 12:9; Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Gal 1:6-9 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel 7which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! 9As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned.

Dt 6:5-7Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

Dont remain as infants in Christ: 1 Cor 3:1-3 Brothers, I could not address you as spiritual but as worldlymere infants in Christ. 2I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready. 3You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere men? 13:11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. 14:20 Brothers, stop thinking like children. In regard to evil be infants, but in your thinking be adults; Eph 4:11-14 It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, 12to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. 14Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming.

Strive for perfection: 1 Cor 15:34; 2 Cor 7:1Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God. 2 Cor 13:11Finally, brothers, good-by. Aim for perfection, listen to my appeal, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.; 1Thess 4:7: For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. Rom 12:1-2; 1Pet1:16; 1Jn 2:1; Mt 5:48: Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

1 Tim 6:12 Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. Mk 10:26-31; 2Tim 1:8; 2:3,9,10; 3:10-15; Heb 10:32-36; 1Jn 3:13; Rom 5:3-4; 8:17-18; Gen 50:20; Matt 10:17-23; Isa 51:7-8; Acts 14:21-22 They preached the good news in that city and won a large number of disciples. Then they returned to Lystra, Iconium and Antioch, 22strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. "We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God," they said. Jn 16:33"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.

One and only one God; Deut 4:35,39; 5:7; 6:4,13;32:39; Isa 37:20; 43:10"You are my witnesses," declares the LORD, "and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me.; 44:6,8; 45:5,6,14, 18, 21,22; 46:9; Hosea 13:4; Mark 12:29,32; John 5:44;17:3; Rom 16:26-27; 1 Cor 8:4-64So then, about eating food sacrificed to idols: We know that an idol is nothing at all in the world and that there is no God but one. 5For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as indeed there are many "gods" and many "lords"), 6yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.; 1 Tim 1:17; 2:5; James 2:19 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe thatand shudder.;

False Prophets and gods- Matt 24: 4-13, 24-28; Exo 22:20; 2Cor 11:4,13; 1Cor 8:4-6; Deut 6:14; 18:20-22; 13:1-15;

Isa 41:21-24,29; 8:19-22;

False Christs/ Jesus: Matt 24:24 For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the electif that were possible; 2 Cor 11:4; Mk 13:22; Lk 21:8; 17:22-24

Salvation by the grace and mercy of God through faith in Jesus Christ- Eph 2:8-10 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faithand this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God 9not by works, so that no one can boast. 10For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.;

Jesus is the author and perfector of our (the elects) faith: Heb 12:2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.; Phil 1:6

Trinity by all being called the Truth: Father= Jn 7:28; 1 Jn 5:20: We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.; Son = Rev 3:7; Jn 14:6: Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.; Holy Spirit= 1Jn 5:6: This is the one who came by water and bloodJesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.;

Jn 14:17; Creation: Prov 3:19-20; Col 1:15-20; Mal 2:10; Heb 1:2,10; 2:10; 3:4; 11:3; Rom 1:19-20; Jer 33:2; Acts 14:15; Ps 8:3-4; 95:6-7; 100:3; 102:25; 147:4; Gen 1:3,6,9,14,20,24; Isa 40:26; Job 9:9; 10:8-12; 34:19; 38:4-6; Ps 33:4-11; 89:11-12; 139:14; 147:15-18; Father: Ps 102:25; 1 Cor 8:6 Jesus: Jn 1:3,10; Col 1:16; Heb 1:2; Holy Spirit: Ps 104:30; Isa 40:12-13; Job 26:13; 33:4;

No Marriage in Heaven: Lk 20:27-40; Mark 12:24-25 Jesus replied, "Are you not in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God? 25When the dead rise, they will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.

Marriage / Parenting- 2 Cor 6:14-16; Heb 13:4-5,16; 1Cor 6:12-20; ch7; Rom 7:2-3; Math 5:27-30; 19:3-9; 28:19; Luke 16:18; Col 3:18-25; 1Pet 3:1-7; Eph 4:25-26,31-32; 5:22-31; 22Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. 23For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. 24Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. 25Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her 26to make her holy, cleansing[a] her by the washing with water through the word, 27and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. 28In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church 30for we are members of his body. 31"For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh." Prov 31:10-31; Gen 1:27-28; 2:18,24-25; 3:16; Titus 2:1-8; Phil 2:3-6;4:6-13; Eph 6:4; Col 3:21; 1 Thess 2:11-12; Col 3:16; Heb 3:13; 10:24-25; Deut 6:7-9 These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates. 1 Tim 3:11: In the same way, the women are to be worthy of respect, not malicious talkers but temperate and trustworthy in everything. Ps 34:11; 128:3; Mk 10:13-14; Acts 5:29; 1 Cor 11:3,7-9, 11-16; Prov 1:8-16; 5:1-23; 6:23-35; 7:1-27;10:1-5;12:4;13:1,24;18:22; 19:2-4,26-27; 1:9,19; 22:6,15;23:13,14; 25:24;27:15;29: 15;1 Tim 2:9-15;3; 5:9-14; Mal 2:11-16; Heb 12:5-11; 13:4; 1 Sam 3:13; Song of Sol 1:2-4,13-16; ch 4:1-7;5:10-16; 7:1-10; ch 8

Bad Company Corrupts Good Character: 1 Cor 15:33-34 Do not be misled: "Bad company corrupts good character." 34Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of GodI say this to your shame.; Prov 24:1-2 Do not envy wicked men, do not desire their company; for their hearts plot violence, and their lips talk about making trouble.

No to Homosexuality: 2 pet 2:6-10a (Sodom and Gomorrah); Rom 1:26-32 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion. 28Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. 29They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. Lev 18:22: Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable.; 20:13: If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.; 1 Cor 6:9 Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders; 1 Tim 1:9-10: We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers,10 for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurersand for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine; Gal 5:19-21

Dont follow Traditions(Catholics) over Gods Word: Mk 7:5-13 5So the Pharisees and teachers of the law asked Jesus, "Why don't your disciples live according to the tradition of the elders instead of eating their food with 'unclean' hands?" 6He replied, "Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written: " 'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. 7They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.'8You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to the traditions of men." 9And he said to them: "You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions! 10For Moses said, 'Honor your father and your mother, and, 'Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death.'11But you say that if a man says to his father or mother: 'Whatever help you might otherwise have received from me is Corban' (that is, a gift devoted to God), 12then you no longer let him do anything for his father or mother. 13Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like that."

Only 10% of Americans are truly Christian
Posted : 10 Jun, 2017 08:43 AM

Please read this article, so we really see what we are dealing with in America. The vast majority aren't Christians, according to this survey by George Barna, including only 7% between the ages of 30-49, and only 4% from 18-29. That is our future, so I believe we need to stop assuming most are Christians when they claim to be one and start asking these questions to see if they really are, and if not, we need to start witnessing to them.

biblical duties of a husband and biblical duties of a wife
Posted : 10 Jun, 2017 08:35 AM

Here is a great list of books that I would recommend:

MEN should read several of these as it is YOUR role to TEACH doctrine to your wife and children throughout marriage.....so you better be able to discuss it intelligently from the WORD. Women, look for men who have read on doctrine and can discuss it intelligently. If you are dating a man who hasn't, get him a couple of these books to read and if he doesn't want to then that tells you that he isn't ready for marriage yet...for he doesn't want to be a spiritual leader. I'm tired of reading about married women complaining about their husband not being a spiritual leader. Do something about it. Don't marry men who haven't read much on theology at all and you won't end up with one like that. YOU can control that in who you choose to marry. If you choose to marry one who hasn't then he most likely never will be a spiritual leader and you have no one to blame but yourself. Don't pawn it off on....oh, I just thought he'd grow into one once married...that is illogical. Most people don't change much once married,

unless you marry very young. Can you live with his leadership and knowledge as it is now for the rest of your life? If not, don't marry him until you are satisfied with what you see. Women should read a few books on theology, too....to show yourself knowledgeable on doctrine, too. While you are single, NOW is the time. Prove yourself to your future spouse NOW! that you take marriage and God seriously by reading and being able to discuss in depth about God and the Word of God. YOU have NO EXCUSES! Children, by the time they are 18 should have been required to read several off of both of these lists.

I find it really interesting that we will study years to get a job to earn money for life, either single or married, and yet we don't study much at all about how to have a godly marriage and keep the marriage strong by understanding much about the opposite sex. As a result, many Christian marriages don't differ too much from non-Christian marriages, even though

we have the truth on our side, the bible, and many intelligent Christian authors who have spent the time breaking it down and surveying men and women and their attitudes and desires. So why don't we hear this being preached in our churches? Why don't we incorporate this as a normal part

of our youth Sunday school classes and bible studies? Why don't we have discussions between boys and girls about each others likes and dislikes and what God has to say about it? So, where do most of our kids end up getting their beliefs from? From either bad examples they see in the home

themselves, or from our public schools which don't do it justice at all, or from TV. There are some good examples in the home, but that is far and few between. If you have that desire to make your future household different from the one you grew up with, God-willing, start studying now. Also, as a

result of the above, we end up teaching our kids that it is just fine to go through boyfriend/ girlfriend, one after the other, to try them out and see what we want. What kind of logic is this? We should first figure out what we should be looking for and then look for that type of person through friendship first, and let it grow from there. AGAIN YOU HAVE NO EXCUSES NOW for the type of Godly marriage you can have...All you need to do is to require yourself and any potential spouse to read some of these. The following is a list of marriage books I own..I have read all but about 2.

Here is a great list of books that I would recommend:

MEN should read several of these as it is YOUR role to TEACH doctrine to

your wife and children throughout marriage.....so you better be able to

discuss it intelligently from the WORD. Women, look for men who have read

on doctrine and can discuss it intelligently. If you are dating a man who

hasn't, get him a couple of these books to read and if he doesn't want to

then that tells you that he isn't ready for marriage yet...for he doesn't

want to be a spiritual leader. I'm tired of reading about married women

complaining about their husband not being a spiritual leader. Do something

about it. Don't marry men who haven't read much on theology at all and you

won't end up with one like that. YOU can control that in who you choose to

marry. If you choose to marry one who hasn't then he most likely never

will be a spiritual leader and you have no one to blame but yourself.

Don't pawn it off on....oh, I just thought he'd grow into one once

married...that is illogical. Most people don't change much once married,

unless you marry very young. Can you live with his leadership and

knowledge as it is now for the rest of your life? If not, don't marry him

until you are satisfied with what you see. Women should read a few books

on theology, too....to show yourself knowledgeable on doctrine, too. While

you are single, NOW is the time. Prove yourself to your future spouse NOW!

that you take marriage and God seriously by reading and being able to

discuss in depth about God and the Word of God. YOU have NO EXCUSES!

Children, by the time they are 18 should have been required to read several

off of both of these lists.

Why do I not get a response from a guy when I send them a message?

They either aren't interested in you, and don't want to give you hope that they might be and get your interests up, or they just aren't online much at all...to get back to you.
