I asked Jesus into my life at the age of 14 and have loved and served Him ever since. I have been a widow 14 years and although I live a full and interesting life I miss having someone special in my life. I live with my younger daughter and her family (3 adult girls) in Stoke on Trent where my son in law is the pastor of Blue Sky Church. This is a new congregation started about 6 years ago under the supervision of Assemblies of God.
Although now living in the Midlands I am a Yorkshire lass at heart being born in Doncaster and living most of my life in Sheffield.
My older daughter lives in Huddersfield and has 4 boys so I am blessed with 7 lovely grandchildren. We are all members of the National Trust and enjoy visiting the various properties when time allows.
We are all active in church life - music. children's work etc which keeps us busy.
I am of a caring nature and visit an older, housebound couple regularly.
Although I am sociable I do not enjoy big parties preferring a meal with a small group of friends. I have a good sense of humour and can see the funny side of most situations.
Qualities that are important to me are - faith in God, kindness, generosity,sense of fun, down to earth.
It would be good to have some interests in common but I am always open to new ideas.
