Please forgive me for being a bit vague in my profile. I'm trying not to give scammers anything to work with.
I only date to marry. I don't understand what some women mean when they say they are looking for a long term relationship. For me it's until death do we part or nothing.
I do not hate anyone. I am friendly with everyone. However, I'm interested in finding a Godly Born-again Christian to be my wife. If you have not been born from above or had the spiritual birth the Bible teaches about, I would be very happy to talk to you about that. What I mean is if you are not sure what it means to be a Born-again Christian and have never heard the Gospel (the good news), I would love to explain that to you. It's a matter of spending eternity in Heaven or Hell. The good news is that you can be sure that you are clothed in the righteousness of Christ, that he died for your sins, and that you will be with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit forever!
I am a Reformed Christian. In case you never heard that term before, it doesn't mean anything like I was an alcoholic or had some other addiction and I've reformed my ways. What it means is that I believe the doctrines espoused by the 16th and 17th Century Protestant Reformers accurately summarize the teaching of God's Word The Bible. In other words the Reformers recovered and taught Biblical Christianity. Even before that time period, in the 4th and 5th centuries, Aurelius Augustine was a reformer who wrote many things that corrected the errors of the Roman Catholic Church. I hope to find someone who also holds to the Five Solas of the Reformation and Doctrines of Grace summarized by the TULIP acronym or wants to understand what the Protestant Reformation was about.
If you are concerned about me being divorced, I completely understand. It was not my desire or doing. My church's pastor and elders and other believer friends and I tried everything we could to change my ex's mind. My church elders will verify that I was divorced against my will without Biblical grounds, and therefore I am eligible to be remarried in The Lord.`
I would like to find someone to talk to, become my friend, pray, and study the Bible with. That's a great way to have a friendship and grow in the grace, knowledge, and truth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ultimately, I'm looking for a marriage partner. If I contact you and you don't think I'm right for you for any reason, please tell me right away. Some people are too polite to say that.
I don't care about your education level. I won't think less of you if you didn't finish high school. Likewise, I won't be intimated if you have multiple doctoral degrees or you are a physician.
