Hi. Thank you for reading my profile. I am a widow and was married for 40 years. I have been a widow for 6 years. I needed some space so that I would adjust, find out what I needed, wanted and so that I could start my life again. I am a christian and I knew that God was at the centre of of my life. So God comes first in my life. So I knew that if I was to find a new person in my life he also would have to be a true Christian. I frequent a very lively church with Spirit filled church family. We have a balanced walk with God and take our faith seriously. We desire to serve one an other and our community like Christ did. I have so much to thank God for.
I originate from Italy so most of my family is in Italy but my daughter lives locally, she is married to a good man and they have one child. Also I have a son in Italy who hast two children. I love my family very much.
I enjoy discussing all sort of topics and have friends from all walks of life. I am very blessed with friends all over the globe.
I speak fluent Italian and English. I can make a very basic conversation in Spanish and I would like to learn French and Romanian I know some but I desire to learn it well.
I love to have fun, laughter and chat.
I like animals particularly cats. I have two rescued cats, twin sisters. They are. called Peanut and Coconut, and are very affectionate as well as loyal. They are indoor cats as they are to trusting and to adventurous and get into lots of troubles if are let out.
Plus we have a fox living at the bottom of the garden. She is very beautiful and had pups this past spring. At night you can hear her call at times.
Sadly at the moment theatre and generally going out is not the pleasure it used to be but I do enjoy going out to the cinema and theatre. I like all types of music.
I enjoy going out for a meal or a simple cup of coffee/tea with friends.
I take nothing for granted and I am thankful for all I have, I have had breast cancer and I am fully recovered. But that has left me with only one breast.
But I am fully discharged from the cancer clinic.
I have arthritis but that is under control.
I have had my covid vaccine as well as had Covid. So I am blessed with lots of protection against this unpleasant virus. I am a very positive proactive person. I love summer but a winter night in with the person you care for is a delight. Or going out.
I know that unless we try and chat we will never be able to know one an other so write to me.
I do not drink but I may have a glass at Christmas and at a birthday. Alcohol does not agree with me as I got older.
