My friends would describe me as loyal, kind, witty, smart, honest, and hilarious (actually I believe they use the words, "a nut"). I love to have fun, laugh and prank, but when it comes to the things of God, I am serious. I can be laid back if the situation warrants and I can be a quiet thinker, too. I have never been known to be shy.
I am easy going, kind, loyal and serious about God. I don’t play. I don’t think we have much time left on this earth, so our focus should be on the things of God. It would be awesome to have a best friend, soulmate, prayer partner to share my life with. Plus, I do need someone to open my pickle jars and reach things. Lol. I’m not looking for a sugar daddy or someone to take care of me. I’m looking for my last best friend to finish the race with.
I know a good marriage takes work, a great marriage takes a lot of work and a marriage centered around God is the only way it works. I believe you should never let the sun go down on your anger, spending time together is priceless and I am old fashioned enough (and Christian enough) to believe that you should not have intimate relationship before marriage. Some may find that hard to believe in this modern day, but I believe Christians should walk the walk they talk. If you believe the Bible, then you know what the Bible says about that.
I am ultra conservative. If you are liberal, I would irritate you. I follow politics very closely. I listen to conspiracy theorists, watch or read genuine news, listen to prophets/biblical prophecy and connect my own dots.
I don’t watch much television. I will occasionally watch a good movie on Pure Flix. I am on social media. I find it a great way to keep up with family and friends. I have friends from 5th grade and I am still friends with the people I lived across the street from when I was 3 months old. Once I’m your friend, I am loyal.
Another shocker? I don’t take vaccines and try to avoid medications. I take 2 prescriptions and am working diligently to get off of them. I do not like the fact that we have strayed so far from what God intended for medicine, and poisoned our bodies with chemicals. I will pick an herb or homeopathic remedy over a drug any day.
I was born in Louisiana, but moved to Texas as fast as I could. Lol. Seriously, I did move there at 3 months old. I was raised there, hence my Texas southern twang. It’s funny to some, but it’s me and it is part of my character. I graduated from a small school in a small town in Texas where life was very different than it is now. We had a cow, a horse, a pig, chickens, rabbits, cats and dogs.
I’m not a world traveler. I don’t speak other languages. I’ve been to Bermuda and Mexico. I loved both. I actually loved Bermuda so much that I wanted to stay. Lol. I would love to visit Italy (because I’m half Italian) and Australia.
I’m not a hiker or biker, but I do enjoy being outdoors and soaking in God’s beautiful creations. The mountains here never cease to amaze me.
If you are my friend, I’m true blue and I will defend you to my death. I am the life of a party, and you can take me places without being embarrassed. I’m well trained, well behaved, and play well with others. Lol.
I’m young at heart, but I’m 69 years old and do not come with an extended warranty; although in my mind I feel 25, the snap, crackle and pop I hear when I get up is NOT cereal. Lol. I like fishing, glamping, and swimming. I do enjoy sitting out by a fire or enjoying my morning coffee outside.
I'm ever changing and ever growing in the Lord. I am a pastor’s widow, so I’ve taught and preached. Preaching is not my specific calling, however if God gives you a message, you should deliver it. He doesn’t make mistakes. I have a good sense of humor, but can be serious if the situation is serious. I'm outgoing and usually do not meet a stranger. I often will use humor when I am in an uneasy situation, but never inappropriately. I might appear quiet when you first meet me. But if I see a smile and see the joy of the Lord in you, I will warm up quickly. I smile a lot and am generally a very happy person. I love God with all my heart and I love people.
I saved the best (or worse) for last. If you are a millionaire, pass me by. If you want to buy me things, I don’t need gifts, nor do I want them. If you work or live in another country, pass me by. If you are on your “last million dollar contract” before you retire, pass me by. If you are unwilling to talk over the phone or have a video chat or meet for coffee within a reasonable amount of time, pass me by. If you fall in love at first email, not a match. If you use terms of endearment right away, not a match. Don’t ask me to download what’s app, Google chat, or any other communication software. If you have a Google voice number or free to text number, not a match. If you ask if I’m financially stable, that is none of your business. If we become best friends and feel there is a future for us, that is when finances/pre-nups, etc are discussed.
I’m truly looking for someone who is real and honest and wants to be friends first and see what God does. A coffee buddy would be a perfect place to start. It would be helpful if you could reach things for me and open my pickle jars, too. I ask a lot of questions. Humor me. Lol

- An ideal date for me would not be dinner, but I love coffee. I’ve been on a health journey for a few years and I mostly cook at home. I eat out occasionally, but I plan what I will eat prior to getting there. Those couples painting sessions where you each paint half and together they make an entire picture, is something I’ve always wanted to do. If we end up not liking one another, I would give you custody of my half and I won’t even ask for visitation.
