I enjoy travel, snorkeling, fishing, hiking, biking, kayaking, projects and cooking. Cats and my dogs are also high on my list. My idea of a splurge vacation is not a KOA although I do enjoy camping. I have traveled quite a bit and certainly am going to do a lot more.
I am financially secure, was a "solo" parent to two daughters who are now in college (they are of the utmost importance to me) and hate being cold but have found I can survive almost anything with a good jacket and plenty of firewood. I also don’t mind the warm summers here in Davis. I have two dogs (one was the pandemic puppy of course), a cat, and chickens which I have learned produce the most expensive eggs in town. Certainly would not expect you to work out with me at 6 am but respecting yourself and being up for an active lifestyle are important.
I always seem to have a DIY project going and like to bbq and bake. I try to eat healthy but do have a sweet tooth (ok, sweet teeth). Someone having kids at home is not a negative in my book as I understand putting in the time raising a family requires. I am not looking for a hookup or to be someone's meal ticket (if this is what you are after please do not contact me). I have found the three most important qualities in a partner to be trust, honesty, and integrity. I am looking for a friendship with the potential to develop into something more. I know everyone probably says this but I really mean it.
