I’m a sinner saved by the grace of God and a glad worshipper of the Lord.
I’m ministry oriented. I love God’s Word. I’ve worked in churches and I’m finishing my last year of an MDIV degree. I’ve also worked in the hospitality industry and trading. I’ve ran my family’s lodge and marina in a very beautiful area of British Columbia. Hospitality has been a significant part of my life.
I’m originally from a small island of five thousand people in British Columbia but currently live in Toronto. I’ve also lived in Ottawa, USA, Mexico and spent time in Israel. (So I’ve got a mix of small island roots and big city)
My church involvement has been in Calvary Chapel churches and now Baptist churches but my family originally had Pentecostal roots. I’m conservative in my theological beliefs as well as political beliefs but I’m large hearted and open to hearing others points of view.
I’ve worked/lived and interacted in many cultural settings and tend to like cultures, languages and I value hospitality. On the culture front from time to time I watch Arabic, Israeli, Turkish, Persian, Indian, Korean, Ethiopian television as well as engage in very diverse music and food.
I’m open to being in the big city but also a smaller place especially especially given how nuts things are.
I’m initially looking for a date, with the potential for more.

- Dates can feel a bit like a job interview… you meet up and it’s, “I don’t know, his eyebrows aren’t even.” “That’s ok, your breath stinks anyway.” “Good bye,” “good bye,” and that’s that. So instead of the job interview vibe, may there be the freedom of self-forgetfulness and not taking of ourselves too seriously.
An ideal first date would be low key, probably a coffee, a good conversation, a walk, see if we click and just enjoy each other’s company.
