Ok..so I know not all women are going to dig what I say. I dont know if I have said this before or not, but please for the love of your Christ, and your fellow brother keep your twins concealed. :) And I say it again because I am astounded by the number of profiles i see, where to much flesh is visible. :stop:

Im not trying to tell ya'll what to do, but two things you should be aware of. 1 Visual Stimulation :excited: -Marital Commitment=The Monster in us  , and/or Visual Stimulation-Marital Commitment+A Skilled Man :angeldevil: =Heart Ache for you. 2. If your thinking "we can just not look", you are right soooo that means the men who dont look may actually do so in a manner that may put you out of their visual range, so much so said man will flee; Man-sexual impurity=Godly man w/ integrity  .

So I'll ask again if you subtract a Godly man with the way you dress, what will you have left?

Hi,

I agree with you, I have the Job being a Christain woman to teach the youth at my church and in my life, Modesty! At church i show this by the way I dress myself as well as in home life...but this is a constant stuggle with my little sister i try to teach her to be conservative and keep covered up, But she gets all defensive and yells so I'm at a loss for what to do! Any Ideas?

It's important to make sure that you are addressing the root of the problem and not simply giving her rules. If you haven't already, try talking to her about why she feels the need to dress that way. Is it because she doesn't feel like any guys will like her if she doesn't? Is it because she feels like her friends won't accept her if she doesn't dress like them? Does she like the power she feels like she has over guys when she dresses that way? Dressing modestly is about so much more that just following the rules or not tempting guys.

Thats Very true i think that the answer would be yes to most of those questions about guys and her firends! In my opinon she is more beautiful when she is covered up (maybe thats becasue i am modest)! Thanks for the Advise, I will talk with her but pray that she will be open to at least listen to what i will say becasue she normally just shuts me out before i even get the first few words out!

Thanks for the word, Rabbit!

It is difficult to find women's (ladie's, young ladie's) clothing that is modest. So many, many have dips and V's and scoops and missing parts that expose the skin.

All ladies, most especially the Christian ones, need to be careful about what we wear.

Amen! Thank you for reminder and encouragement. Sometimes it is tempting to dress like the world.

RESPONSE::

It would be mans lustful desire? may be im right :D

Yes we Christian ladies must be modest in our clothing. And should separate ourselves from the world.

I guess the group/peer where she belongs influence the way she clothed though she knows what she should be as a christian but because of the fear of being outcast she dresses the way of the world.

But isn't it you guys are more attracted to ladies who dress well (sexy) than us who dressed below the knee?

I believe the RIGHT man is the only one we want to attract. I'm conservative in the way I dress, always have been even before I met the Lord.

but ladies, we have to be careful not to be frumpy either...dont wear clothes that hang on you or over do the modesty thing.

It does get tempting to dress the way the world does but that's not representing the Lord at all and it shows others that that's all we think we have to offer someone, our bodies. Self esteem plays a huge part in both extremes...frumpiness as well as dressing in a revealing way.

It's all about being comfortable with who you are and it shows on the exterior what you think of yourself.

bless you guys,

Jennifer

if you subtract a Godly man with the way you dress, you will have ungodly men. Even a Christian man can act ungodly. You will have the beast in them that in the end only cares about meeting their own needs, cause the true Jesus lovers who love sacraficaly had to head for the hills otherwise they would fall into temptation.
