Usually those testimonies would picture those appeared angels as big tall men. Post Reply

It was on 9/11/01, while my family was vacationing in Washington, DC (um, yeah, we apparently picked a REALLY bad time for that vacation!). Anyway, after the terrorist attacks, we had to get out of the city; we had taken the Metro system into DC, which made things crazy...it wasn't running the full route because of the smoke near the Pentagon, and they put everyone on buses for part of the route. As we were trying to get on a bus, a big man tried to push in front of us; he was being extremely rude and obnoxious. A small lady stepped in front of him, and said "Children first." He amazingly backed off and politely waited until me, my mom, my two younger sisters, and my aunt got on board. We turned to thank the lady, and she was gone. When we got off the bus and were waiting for the next Metro train to arrive, my little sister (only 10 at the time) was crying and scared. The smoke was thick, and thousands of people were pushing at us while they were trying to get as close to the train as possible. Suddenly, that same small lady appeared again, and just calmly looked a my mom and said "It will be ok. You will all get out of the city safely." Then she told my little sister "Don't cry. There is no reason to be afraid." She turned and walked off through the crowd (away from the train!), and we never saw her again. We have always wondered if she was an angel that God sent to comfort us. There was just something about the way that she appeared in both places, and then disappeared just as quickly. What are the chances that the same person would be in both places, and help us both times, just when we needed help the most? There were literally thousands of people trying to get out of Washington, DC. What do y'all think? Post Reply

Posted : 22 Nov, 2010 07:31 AM As far as I know, I haven't seen one, but would LOVE, LOVE, BAREFOOT LOVE too, of course!!! :hearts::hearts::hearts: There's a sister magazine to Guideposts magazine that is titled Angels On Earth, and I enjoy reading all of the testimonies in it about angelic encounters brothers and sisters in Christ have had and shared ... perhaps, godslamb, you could bless others too by sending in and sharing YOUR angelic encounter with others through this Angels On Earth magazine ... what cha think? I know that I know that I know they walk amongst us...One day at the Market...I was walkin to my Truck & a lil Man was walkin towards me...He paused & said...Its a Beautiful day isnt it ?...I smiled real big & said...YES ! it sure is...He tipped his head at me an walked on...I stopped & looked back at him...He paused, turned an looked at me nodded his head at me, turned an walked on...I turned an kept walkin...I paused an turned to look at him...He paused an turned an looked at...He tipped his head an waved at me then walked round the corner...I rushed to find him...I jus had this feeling...but when I got to corner an looked...He was gone...I believe he was Angelic...I had asked GOD to send a sign pertaining to a decision I needed to make...It is what it is...an I will never forget...xo Post Reply
