"P.S. Does anyone have an idea of what this means? It's puzzled me for awhile. "Because of the angels"?"

Write to LTM and ask him to provide you this answer. He has over 30 years of study and a maturity of understanding that surpasses everyone else. When you have it, email me and let me know. At that time, I will provide you with my answer. You can compare them and let me know what you discover.

"The feminism which restores women to their rightful, valuable, and biblical role is good. "

Which is why someone needs to define which one they are speaking about...

Who are the ones out there in the world advocating that understanding of feminism? I think it's clear by the contrast the OP struck what type of feminism he has in mind.

Christians should not even be speaking in worldly terms in the first place. This would avoid the potential misunderstanding right upfront. It would be more proper to contrast Biblical womanhood against feminism. Anyone who self professes "feminism" is adopting the cultural definition by default. We could advocate for a different definition but that is a whole different task entirely. That would require that society adapt to a new definition.

To assert Genesis 6 as understanding for 1 Cor 11:10 is to not only falsely interpret 1 Cor. 11:10 but also shows a misunderstanding of Gen. 6

MsMarvels point, that feminism at its base is driven by worldly ideas seems to be right.

Yet GUD's point that ""The feminism which restores women to their rightful, valuable, and biblical role is good. "

Which is why someone needs to define which one they are speaking about..." - but anything where the state is restored to our Biblical role is good. Because for Christians we would be in a place where we were surrendered to God, Christ-like and full of the Holy Spirit. However GUD you are saying restores not restored. Persecution that turns us back to God is good. God works all things for good for those that love the Lord.

But to answer GUD's question what is Feminisim -The advocacy of women's rights on the grounds of political, social, and economic equality to men.

From my view there are aspects of this which are good. For instances I think that it has turned our hearts to an aspect of worshiping and loving God by loving cherishing ladies in general - not just our wives but all of His daughters. But feminism in the sense of the key aspect of it which is equality of sexs' is the question.

Is there a difference between Christian Feminism and Feminism?

Yes there is. Basically Christian Feminism would hold that we need equal treatment of the sexs' from a Christian perspective.

Myself I am a complementarian. So I disagree with this view. However I think there is an aspect that loving and cherish woman with a Christ-like love is Christian - as it is for all people. But as i have described it the Christian feminist would disagree with me about the incompatibility of it and complementarianism. So if you do identify yourself as a Christian Feminist and are also a complementarian perhaps you need to examine the integrity of your beliefs. If you are a Christian Feminist and a complementarian I would appreciate a discussion with you. So please be kind enough to message me.

Like Kiwi said, I think it can only be defined as two separate things, because lumping it all under one definition is going to be confusing. Like most worldly things, truth is mixed with error.

Godsjude, I don't really understand what you mean concerning what's in Gen. 6, can you expound on it?

TBK, if you'd like to share your view, I would appreciate it, but I'd rather not play games to find it out.
